He knew.

He knew they met. He knew where they went. He knew everything that had happened because

He knows everything about her.

"San ka galing?" Jorge asked Leni when she came back to their room.

"Remember Rody? From college? We met! We talked ganyan tapos yun, umalis narin siya because he have to see his properties." Leni told him as she hugged his waist.

He did not bulge. She looked at him.

"Why?" She asked him. He just looked at her. She chuckled.

"Are you jealous or what?" She asked him as she tied her hair.

"I remember Rody. Kamusta na siya?"

"Ok naman it seems. Businessman na sya sa Davao, buying lands and properties. I'm glad nakagraduate din siya and became successful."

"You missed him?"

"When I saw him, I realized I did! It's been what more than 5 years since we last had contact."

"Did he missed you?"

"Sabi niya."

He just looked at her as she smiled to herself.

"So, kayo na ulit?" He randomly blurted out. She laughed as she gave him a peck on the lips.

"Alam mo, what you said don't make sense. We just met now after some time, of course we missed each other, may pinagsamahan din naman kami. Halika, let's have dinner."

Rody went to see one of the lands he bought. He talked to the owner of the adjacent properties and told him he's lucky to have purchased the property.

"Alam mo sir, we're supposed to buy that piece of land e. Kaso wala pa kaming budget. Naubos dun sa kaso na ano –" She stopped with a pained look.

"Ano pong kaso, kung ok lang malaman?"

"Eto po kasing current property, medyo nagkaproblema sa titulo. Ancestral land kasi ito kaso di naayos agad ung papeles so un isang may ari dati binenta ito sa iba tapos un pinagbentahan sila agad ung nagsecure ng titulo. Yun may ari tuloy na isa namroblema kasi na-donate na nya ung lupa para maging hospital nga na ito ngayon."

"So I suppose, hindi ok yung dalawang may-ari ano?"

"Opo, ganun na nga. Eto po sanang property na nabili nyo, papatayuan ng shelter for children with cancer. Hehe. Kaso ayun nga, nawalan kami ng funds dahil recently nagkaroon ng kaso."

"Naku pasensya na po. Sana maayos nyo un titulo – may abugado na po ba kayo?"

"Naghahanap nga po sana kami ng mura e, medyo mahal kasi ang private practice."

"Tulungan ko po kayo makahanap ng murang abugado." Rody thought of his lawyer friends.

"Salamat sir ha. Nakakatuwa naman at ang bait ng aming kapitbahay. Hehe. Ano po bang plano nyong itayo sa lupa nyo?"

"Iniisip ko pa nga mam e, motel sana, bebenta siguro un kasi diretso hospital na sa tabi kung magkaproblema no?" Rody joked and the lady director laughed.

"Naku sir, kayo talaga. Mas mabuti siguro kung boarding house kasi minsan ung mga na-aadmit dito galing sa malayo e, kikita kayo kung puwede silang tumuloy sa'yo kung matagalan pa sila di ba?"
