It is midnight. 12:40 a.m. I typed the final sentence in my first completed novel, of which has taken me a span of a bit over a year. I'm going back to sleep now.
It's a pleasure to meet anyone who has made it this far and somehow finished this book. I owe you everything. Thank you for sticking by me, because for a long time--I thought finishing this story was less of a possibility than me not using dashes every paragraph--believe me, I know.
In case you didn't know, I am a relatively young writer. The first ten chapters of TLAL were written during my final year of middle school. Then, the rest was painfully finished over the summer. You might've noticed a shift in my writing style, of which violently practicing until your fingers won't straighten and the word 'the' makes you sick.
Either way, there are a few people I have to thank, because as I said--I would not have finished this book without them.

Thank you. Thank you--my wonderful beta reader and friend for sticking by me and falling victim to my guinea pig tests. You were the first person I showed each and every scene and plot twist to, the first pair of eyes to skim this story other than my own. It's thanks to you that the story progressed as it did. From emotional support to simply being there as an "editor", there is no way I will ever be able to thank you enough.2. seniorquote
You... are amazing. Seriously. Amazing. Thanks for sticking by me and showing genuine interesting my story, even when I did not. It means the world, and comments like yours in and out of Wattpad have pushed me to keep going, not only as a writer, but as a person.3. AlexFaith24
Alright. You've been there since day one and you know it. The majority of my plot stemmed from the discussions we'd have about our books, at the time, still living solely in our heads. But with an unprecedented amount of time and tears, we did it. You with your own stories, writing far faster than I--and myself... with well, this. Thank you for being the match that sparked my story.4. rnpoetry
My partner in crime, some one who I met cause you had the misfortune of asking me for a cover, long before I started my graphics shop. Despite every bone in my body not wanting to, you pushed me to write. And hopefully, vice versa with your stunning poetry. There are no words to captivate what your motivation meant to me.5. In TLAL everything works in five. Five years between Junior Programs. Five Regions. 5 Figura Furem. So of course, my number five of people I have to thank is all of you. I am in your debt. PM me, talk to me, please—or stay a silent supporter if you prefer. Every vote and comment has made all the difference to me. There would be no story with anyone to listen to it. So thank you. That's about it. If you have any questions regarding the story or characters, don't hesitate to ask. Now I know this book left on a cliffhanger.
But it is the first one in the series, after all.
