Jakes POV

I was following behind a stumbling Lucas and he refused my help. when i tried to help him walk down to the front gates, Admittedly we were a little suspicious that no one had pointed guns at us or stopped us. I wanted to jump above and get a view of what was going on inside but Lucas said not to until we knew we could trust them. I saw Lucas stumble up to the gate and bang on it and yell,

"Hey im injured and me and my friend are dehydrated and hungry let us in."

We were met with silence and once Lucas turned around and took a few steps i saw 20 people look over the walls with bows and pistols drawn. One of them with a deep country accent yelled,

"Who are you and what do you want"

Lucas turned around and said "I am Lucas Planker and my friend here is Jake Adams we are seeking shelter from the lycans" The man pointed to Lucas's wound and said,

"Whats your injury"

Lucas knew that they would think he would turn into a Lycan if he told them so he said,

"I fell out of a tree i was sleeping in and scraped it up pretty bad and im limping because we ran into some not so neighborly types awhile back and they shot me off a horse and in the leg"

The man bought and let us in but once we were in they had us hand over our weapons. Once we did we were bagged and knocked out.

Lucas POV

I awoke tied to a chair with zip ties and duct tape. I tried to break and wiggle free but couldn't. Then reality hit me. What if these were some of Emily's soldiers positioned as a strategic point. Mid break down i heard a door open and close. It was a tall buff dark skinned man with a lycan scracth across his face. He punched me in the face and said,

"that's a lycan bite on your shoulder are you trying to infect us and are you from that witches army" I said,

"Well its a long story but im here on good terms asshole."

"Then start talking or im gonna start shoving your teeth up your ass."

I let out a small chuckle then said,

"Well the lycan queen Aria kidnapped me and my friend and then proceeded to rape me as to get a Lycan Human Hybrid which can go toe to toe with even the gods of this universe but we escaped and are now looking for a ar.."

i was stopped short by the mans right hook and then spit out one of my teeth before he said,

"you escaped the place that destroyed this world and killed my family and 70 percent of the worlds population so you mean to tell me you escaped that place."

I smiled and said,

"hell yeah we did and its becuase my friend has powers beyond your imagination".

I was then beaten for what felt like hours before he left. I was bleeding from my nose,my mouth,and my left eyebrow a woman walked in after the man left i spit out blood before she said,

"Excuse my friends methods he isn't the brightest type...my name is Lucy Elizabeth Brown and im here to offer you a deal."
