The Lycans
Chapter 15: The Celebrations
Jake's POV
As I carried Emily to her cell, I had realized the sad fate of my friends. Lucas and I were the only ones left. As we used deep-stone to block her magic, she groaned and flopped up from the bed in her cell. She didn't like the fact she was chained, and we are going to watch her closely, we put our best man, Brutus, on the job.
"You'll pay for this!" She yelled. We medicated her, and she was out cold. This doesn't seem to be a good idea.
I was put on watch for the night, and in the morning, Lucas is taking over, hopefully, I need to find someone, I'm going to confront Lucas about it tomorrow and when that happens, I need to take a vehicle and travel south. I spent most of the night thinking, hopefully, I could remember, I decided to find some of my old yearbooks, hopefully, I'll find it. I left that morning.
The house was in shambles. The only things left intact were upstairs and basement. the first floor was a mess. I found the office. I began to search. this is going to take awhile. before I knew it. I grew tired and flopped on the bed, Emily appearing before me, as a silhouette, she told me that I'll never find it.
"Fuck Off, ill find it and the person I'm looking for, and you'll never stop me, plus you're not even here. You're back at the settlement in your cell." I said and looked at her red glowing pupils.
"This may be true, but ill still have access to your mind, how do you think I was able to control you. You know what, make your trip. and put me in the bunker." I sent a communicator signal back to base for them to do so. They didn't, but I continued my search. This is getting tiring.
After a few hours, I passed out, searching in my sixth-grade yearbook. The one that I wasn't even in. and I found it, and memories from one fateful day. Holy shit, I have to find her. I best head back, Lucas is probably wondering where I am to keep watch on Emily. I hurried back as fast as I could.
I was beeping the horn outside the garage gate. Lucas looked at me over the wall and shook his head. I rolled the vehicle inside and got out. Lucas came up to me and said,
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! You could have been caught. although they are disbanded, strays are still around!" he then slapped me. "Other's know about your power, it's not safe. Jake, don't leave again without clearance."
"Listen, I did this at my own risk. I have to find her, it's been almost 10 years."
"Jacob, she's probably dea-"
"I don't care. I'm finding her."
"Suit Yourself."
"Fine, I see where my support stands."
"Jake-" Lucas put his hand on my shoulder, "Don't do this. it's not safe."
"Brother, I have too. I have to get away from Emily, she keeps fucking with my head."
"Brother, please."
"No"
After a while of arguing, Lucas finally gave in. I decided to stay for the celebrations. He decided it was time to move Emily underground. I picked her up and she groaned,
"Jacob.." She nestled her head into my chest.
"Not this bullshit again.." I was a little annoyed.
"You listened to me, for the first time in years.."
"Emi... Stop it... I'm not letting you free."
"And Neither am I, you're going where you belong! We're taking you t-"
