Chapter 13: The Confrontation 

Lucy’s POV

Im working in the medical field trying to help the people fighting in this dreadful fallout war. I am losing more people than I can help. My anxiety is starting to spike for there is an uneven amount of fighters on the field. The Lycans has gotten us mostly so far. Not shocked though, for the factor i grew up with these fools and they don’t know how to shoot a gun half of them. Sadly enough. You figured they could for living in West Virginia. 

Anyways! I’m getting off topic. I'm starting to be concerned if I can run this medical centre alone. I'm trying my best to with-hold my powers but all i want to do is help in this battle. I have been a warrior since I was small ‘cause I was a hunter for the community for such a long time. 

This battle is getting tiresome. The Lycans, or so called vampire creatures you’d call them has destroyed Earth to the point of its almost unable to hold an orbit. The so called radiation spike has messed up the center of the Earth making our orbit go wacky. Winter is colder than usual and summer is dreadful. It's hard to keep any food stocked up during the summer before hand. Only if this all didn’t go on. Of course, these Lycans need to be killed, and I'd do anything to help kill them creatures off this planet. 

Oh well, can’t do much when I'm being told to help the wounded. Im struggling to keep up with these injuries, they’re coming in quicker than McDonalds fast food craving fuckers back in the early 2000’s. 

Im avoiding to keep my powers out of the line, so I don't get caught by Jake. I don’t want him being suspicious of me having powers almost like him. I’m hoping everything is going to plan for Jake and the others killing off them damn Lycans. I was raised by the damn things and i never liked them. Ended up murdering a whole small county worth of them before settling here in Rainelle. 

Of all things to expect, I never expected a war against this amazing handsome, kind hearted sorcerer being against the Lycans. Unneeded words~ Er.. Ignore that. Y’all read nothing~. Anywho.

What the? What the hell was the loud boom? Holy mother of jesus, i gotta run. Lucy signing off, and it may be my last.

Jake’s POV
Moments before the Blast

As I finally entered the battlefield, Lucas and Rick told me to stay behind because I wasn't “Ready”, I was more than ready. So i said fuck it and Ran towards the center of the field. Only to  come across no one other than Emily. She was looking for me, I just know it.

“I thought you weren't ready?” She said,

“More ready than you’ll ever be”

“What’s that supposed to mean” she replied, a little confused, “you do realize you’re the reason im stuck this way, right?

“Actually Emily, you had the Cornelius gene to begin with, I just didn't know that the stone would activate it.”

“Whatever, that seems like some bullshit.” She commented. 

“Genetics don’t lie Emily.” I said to her, “Don’t be surprised that I was right all along.” 

“You just don't know how to shut up, now do you?” She said running at me. I began running as well.

“I may or may not have a major problem with you still destroying the world.” 

We kept running at each other towards the middle of the field. Rick turns over after him and Lucas destroyed an entire army section and looks at me going head on towards Emily. I took a heavy jump and pointed my arms towards the ground. Emily was able to notice the blast coming on, because of my eyes becoming solid white, and as i was about to shoot the rays, Rick ran over and deflected the blast causing me and emily to be blasted into the same tree. This knocked us out for a quick minute, I could see Lucy running towards me before everything went dark.
