Brennen hit the padded floor hard, face first. He and Petra were training and after a week of training he was once again beaten by the beutiful princess. "You lasted longer this time" Petra said jokingly. "Ya, the padding on the floor doesn't help much though, especially when you are getting hit with a staff." Brennen said a little annoyed. "Aw, r u ok, where does it hurt" Petra said, generally worried she might have hit him to hard. "The side of my face, you swing that staff like a baseball bat hitting a home run Petra" Brennen responded to the princesses question. "I have no idea what that means but ok" Petra said before kissing his cheeck and smiling at him. Brennen smiled back. "Much better milady" Brennen said looking into the eyes of the princess, who after a week of getting to know each other started to date each other. "I hope I am not interrupting anything" Merlin said, suddenly entering the room. "Not at all, we were just training Merlin, would you like to join us" the princess said. "Nothing would give me more pleasure then to see how far my apprentice has come since we began" Merlin responded to the question. And so both Merlin and Brennen entered the center of the training room. Merlin put his hands together and they started to glow black as night. As he slowly separated his hands an item slowly became visible in between the powerful and immortal wizards hands. This object was a sword made out of pure, shining shadow matter with a shadow diamond gem placed on the hilt. "Shall we begin then my young apprentice" Merlin said now holding the brilliant and shining sword. "Oh ya, I'm ready Merlin" Brennen said, picking up a sword from the weapons rack on the side of the room, excited to show his teacher what he has learned in the two weeks he has been here. And so, they both went to the center and got ready to battle. Brennen was the first to strike, charging at the immortal wizard at full speed. The wizard easily blocked his attack and countered by thrusting his sword at his student. Brennen narrowly dodged the fatal blow, however being cut on his side. Brennen winced at the blow but remained steady. Merlin moved this time, showing unexpected speed and agility for someone of his age. He striked his student who blocked his blow. However Merlin sweeped his leg and caught him by the arm. Merlin continued to disarm his student and then dropped Brennen on the floor, holding the point of the sword at his chin. "Do you yield" Merlin said as Brennen looked over at Petra who had worry in her eyes. "No!" Brennen said as he kicked the older man away from him and got up. Suddenly his eyes began to glow a dark shade of purple as he put his hand together. His hands began to glow as he slowly separated them, two long but thin swords formed in his hands, they were dual katannas made out of Shadow diamond. "Impressive, but can you hold their form for long" Merlin spoke, impressed his student was able to create a weapon so early in his training. "We will just have to find out" Brennen said, charging at his teacher who managed to block one sword. Then Brennen brought his other sword and was able to disarm his teacher and held him to the ground. "Do you yield my teacher" Brennen spoke holding his swords in a scissor position to his kneeling teachers neck. "Yes, I yield my student" Merlin said, impressed at his students skills. And so they got up and the weapons disappeared as Petra ran up to Brennen and hugged him, proud of how far he has gotten in his training.
