~Dream World: Palace of Light~
Brennen had once again arrived in the dream world in the palace of light. Standing before him was Etheria. However, instead of her usually neutral expression, she had a wicked smile and a malicious look in her eyes. "Welcome back, little shadow." Etheria said, her voice sounding wicked instead of her usual monotone voice. "What the heck is up with you Etheria? You seem, off." Brennen said, slightly surprised by her expression and the tone of her voice. "No little shadow, I'm as I have always been." Etheria said, her wicked smile growing. "What do you mean Etheria." Brennen said, now suspicious. "Did you really think I fought you continuously just because I wanted to fight. If so then you are an even bigger fool then I thought you were." Etheria said harshly, her eyes glowing white as a bright flash of light emitted from her hands as her golden sword appeared. "So, that's how it's going to be huh." Brennen said, now angry at her betrayal. Brennen put his hands together and his eyes glowed a dark shade of purple as he summoned his katannas. "Be warned little shadow, I'm coming for you, and I'm not holding back." Etheria said as she brought her sword down on to his, shattering the katannas and slicing through his chest.
~Dimension 565~
Brennen woke up breathing heavily. He winced as he felt a searing pain on his chest. He looked down at his bare chest and saw a long scar on the front. "Oh my god, so it wasn't just a dream." Brennen said as the pain started to die down. Suddenly he remembered the warning that Etheria gave him. "I need to warn Petra." Brennen said, jumping out of bed and getting dressed in his usual attire. Once he was finished getting dressed he rushed out of his room to find Petra sitting at the table. "Good morning Brennen. What's wrong, you look worried" Petra said as she looked up from eating the pancakes that Brennen's parents made for breakfast. "Petra, Etheria is coming, it's really bad, we need to stop her." Brennen said, he was out of breath from getting his clothes on, rushing out of his room, and the still searing pain of his chest. "What. But Etheria is only someone who appears in your dreams." Petra said, she was confused. "Wait, who's Etheria." Both of Brennen's parents asked together. "Ok, so basically, when I was in the shadow verse, a woman named Etheria always came to me in my dreams. It happened after I first used my powers but I haven't gotten the dreams since I got back, that was until last night." Brennen said, making sure they were following along. As he saw them nod he continued. "But there was always something wierd about her, whenever I had this dream we fought, but when I woke up, my actual body, or rather the body I had in the shadow verse, sustained the same injuries I got in the dream. But this time, Etheria revealed that she was doing this to weaken me, I'm not exactly sure what she really is but I know she is evil, and she is coming." Brennen finished explaining to them. His parents just stared at him in shock. They all stood in silence for about 3 minutes so that his parents could take in everything he just said. Suddenly Brennen's phone rang. He took his phone out of his pocket and looked at the caller ID, it was Emily. Once he saw that it was Emily he answered the call. "Hey Emily, what's up." Brennen asked, confused on why she called him early on a Sunday morning. "Brennen, turn on the TV now." Emily said sounding worried. "Um, why, what's wrong." Brennen said, curious on why she sounded so worried. "Just do it, you wouldn't believe me unless you saw for yourself." Emily said. "Um, ok?" Brennen said, still curious on what she meant. As soon as Brennen turned on the TV, he saw what she meant. "Breaking News: Demon like creatures have suddenly started appearing out of nowhere, we advise all civilians to stay in doors as the military has been brought in to deal with the situation." The TV said. On the TV was a video of White demon like creatures with golden tails, horns, and wings flying around the city, blasting balls of white fire down below. Suddenly tanks were brought in to the scene and began to fire at the demon like creatures. However, the demons seemed unaffected by the assault. Suddenly the demons through white balls of fire at the tanks, causing the tanks to immediately explode. "This is bad, we need to stop her before this gets any worse." Brennen said, staring in shock. Brennen's dad suddenly sighed. "We were hoping something like this wasn't gonna happen yet." Brennen's dad said. "What do you mean dad, and what do you mean by yet?" Brennen asked suspiciously. "Well, ever since the 'Dragon' incident, we have been preparing for another attack, I guess there is no better time to test out the surprise we were making." Brennen's mom chimed in. "Wait, what surprise, what are you talking about?" Brennen asked, more curious then ever. Brennen's mom nodded at his dad and his dad leaft the room towards their office. As he came back he was holding a large silver briefcase. As he opened it Brennen was surprised and also amazed at what he saw. Brennen took out the contents of the case. It was a ninja gui, it had grey sleeves and a black overcoat, it had a black face mask and dark purple arm bands. "Wait, is this what I think it is?" Brennen asked in amazement. His mom nodded, confirming this was his new suit. He quickly put it on, it was light but it also felt strong. "Oh yes, this will do nicely, let's go kick some demon butt." Brennen said as his eyes glowed a dark purple as he summoned his katannas.
