Ch.2 The Over-World

The only way I could leave, was through a portal. I had to try, I wanted to leave. I don't want this life anymore. This was the only way I could leave. Yeah, Adam will find out eventually that I left. But, I can't worry about that. "Here goes nothing.." I say to myself, before putting my hand out, and a blue glow around it, as a portal opens infront of me. I look back one last time, before going through the portal.
I then appeared in the over world. The portal closed behind me. I looked around. "Wow...the over world looks pretty cool....It's better than how Adam described it..." I say to myself, in amazement. I was in a forest.
I see a city ahead of me. I look at the city from afar, curious and a little nervous. "I wounder what city mom went to...When she came to the overworld.." I mumbled, still looking around a bit. I walk to the city, and everybody seemed pretty calm. It was mid-day, So it was hot outside. There were many buildings, people, and other things. It was kinda nice. The people seemed to be normal, and not demon's. That's a relief. I see many shops around.

I think and look around the city.

A few hours later, I notice the sun going down. -Its getting dark already?- I think, before stumbling back as something or someone quickly flew past me. "okay then..?" I quietly say to myself, a bit confused. As I walk around, I could feel the air getting a bit cold. I put my hood up, and put my hands in my pocket. I stop infront of a small building and sigh. "I dont have any money to rent a place or anything..So, I guess i'll have to sleep outside." I mutter as I sit down at a back of a building. I lean my back against the wall.

I stared at the sky, till I finally fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up very early, yawning. I didn't want to get chased away. I got up, and stretched. I kept my hood up, and walked around the city a bit more. Not many people where up. "I wonder what I should do..." I mumbled, putting my hands in my pockets. I look at the forest, and went into it again.
"May as well look around here.." I said to myself, as my wolf ears and tail pop out. They where black, like my hair was. "Dang it...not again.." I mutter, as they popped out from under my hood..I was making sure no one saw, then walked around. "It's nice and quiet here...I like it..." I'd say to myself, walking deeper into the forest. I climbed up a tree, getting a good view of my surroundings. I could see a small river near by, alot of trees, and that was about it. I jumped down, then leaned against a tree, thinking.

A small blue flame was on my finger tips. I didn't notice however. I'd shake my head, the flame disappearing as I sighed. "What do I do..." I mumbled before I noticed Adam infront of me. "Great..." I said under my breath as he looked at me, disappointed. "Uh..h-hey Adam..." I said a little nervous of what he was going to say. He shook his head, saying nothing.

I'd think and put my head down, looking at the ground. Adam soon opened a portal, I walked through and he went after me.

I was back in the demon realm. I had a scared feeling as I saw Mako. Adam was behind me as he closed the portal. I knew I was in trouble. I couldn't do anything about it, and I knew it. Adam looked at me. "So..what where you doing in the over world?.." He asked me. Mako listened, then I looked at Adam and respond, "I uh..was exploring. I wanted to see the overworld..I uh.." I then stopped. I couldn't say the real reason why. I had to think of something better than that!

I thought. Adam shook his head. "We will discuss this later.." Adam muttered walking away. I was afraid as I was alone with Mako, Adam didn't know what Mako does to me. I was afraid to say anything. Now, I'm alone with him.
