Ch.14 Darkest Hour

I didn't know what to say. I wanted to tell Tycer, honestly I did. But what should I say? Would he believe me? "And don't even bother saying it's nothing.. because that would be a lie. I see the cut on your face.." Tycer said. I sighed, remembering that Mako cut me with his blade. Luckily the blade didn't cause severe damage. I blocked some of the attack with a shield.
(Wait, but I didn't write that?? I said nothing about a shield..?)
I was lucky this time, even though some blood did go down my face earlier when he cut me. My healing seemed a bit faster. Suddenly Tycer snapped me out if my thoughts. "So, you gonna tell me what really happened or what?" Tycer said, giving me a glare. I knew what the right thing to do was. I had to tell him, but not here. It had to be somewhere, so it would only be me and Tycer. I stood up then said,"Follow me." Tycer seemed confused but then he stood up, and we walked out of the room.

We walked out of the castle, then Tycer grabbed my arm and pulled me backwards so I faced him. "Where are we going?" Tycer asked me. "Just, trust me.." I said and sighed quietly. Tycer rolled his eyes but nodded. After a while, we where away from the castle and at a hide out my mom showed me a while ago, before she knew about the over world, she went here to get away from the castle. I sat down and Tycer sat down infront of me. We where facing each other, but we stayed silent. Then Tycer finally broke the silence. "So, what do you want to tell me that we have to be away from the castle?" He asked. I took a deep breath, then finally spoke. "M-mako...he did this to me. He wants to kill me and take the throne. H-he.." I stuttered, but before I could finish, Tycer put his hand up, to stop me, he seemed shocked, but silenced me. "He what?!" Tycer said, shooting upward. I didn't say anything, I just looked down at the ground, but I felt Tycer's gaze down on me.

Tycer seemed to understand a little. He put a supportive hand on my shoulder. "Whatever happens. I'm here for you bud. I'm always at your side. Now that I know this, I'll help you more.." Tycer said, and I looked up at him. I faintly smiled at him. I then stood up, and asked, "What am I going to do? I don't want Mako to know that I told you. I don't want anything bad to happen.." I said. Tycer shook his head and said, "Don't worry about it. He won't know, and we will figure something out. I promise." I felt a little better after that. I was tense, but slowly became relaxed. We started to walk back to the castle. When we arrived, I started to go to my room. Tycer went to his, but got stopped by Adam and they talked for a while. I sat down on my bed after shutting my room door.

After a half hour, Tycer rushed in, and I shot up from my bed. Tycer then said, "Coda! We have a problem! We are going to be at War soon!!"
