-Edited-

I quickly turn to see what was grabbing my shoulder. It was a demon with red and black horns. He wore a black shirt, black jeans and had dark reddish-brown hair. He was a bit tall, but not as tall as Adam.
-Tycer!- I thought to myself, happily.
Tycer always helped me out. He was a close friend. Even though he was 16 and I was only 14, he was still a close friend. He knows I should be a prince and do my role. But he respected my choice and helped me out. He helps me out alot. We respect and help each other.

Tycer stood infront of me, looking at Adam. Adam shook his head. "Tycer, why are you here?" Adam asked. "Well, I could ask the same about you." Tycer said. I looked at Tycer. I didn't want him to get in trouble. I sighed then said, "Adam...I've already told you before, I don't want to be a prince..I don't want to go back.."
Adam looked at me. "So..who have you been staying with?" Adam asked. -Crap!- I thought. What do I say? Tycer looked at me, as if he knew. "Uh..well, I've been wandering around the city most of the time.." I mumbled a little. "Hm..I see.." Adam muttered. I rolled my eyes as I guessed what he would say next. "Coda, you have till tonight to come back. Don't make me come get you." Adam said and stared at me.
Tycer shook his head then spoke, "Adam, why does he have to? He has told you and everyone many times...He doesn't want the throne. Why don't you listen to him?" I looked at Tycer as he said that. Adam didn't look to happy.
"He knows he is supposed to. His mother was the queen, therefore Coda has the royal blood. The crystal won't accept anyone else unless Coda where to do something so the power in the crystal would accept whoever Coda would choose. But no one knows how that works." Adam said. I sighed. -How am I suppose to do that?- I thought. Adam looked at me, "You have till tomorrow.. midnight ." He said, then went through the realm portal. Tycer looked at me and said, "I'm sorry Coda..but I'll try my best."
I softly sigh, and said, "No Tycer...don't, you don't need to get yourself in more trouble.."

Tycer shook his head a little then went through the portal as well. Then it closed.
I put my hand onto my forehead. What do I do? I thought to myself. I looked up at the sky, the moon was out. Clear skies, I then went inside of Jay's house.

As I closed the door, I noticed Jay was right behind me. Great..just what I need right now. -What am I going to tell him?- I thought. "Where have you been? What happened?" Jay asked me, a bit serious. "I..uh..can explain?" I said, and rubbed the back of my head. I pull my hood down then leaned against the wall. "There...was some loud noise I heard...so I went outside to see what it was...turned out it was some guy trying to hurt a girl...so I..stopped him and saved the girl.." I said, and I wasn't lying. But I knew I couldn't say anything about Adam. Jay sighed. "As long as your okay..." He mumbled. "Go to bed now...We will discuss everything else later...." He said and looked at me, before shaking his head, then walked to his room. Instead of going to bed, I sat down on the couch in the dark. Thinking about what I was going to do tomorrow at midnight.
