The bullet only skidded across my right arm as I quickly move to the side, out of the way from the bullet. So did the girl. The girl looked terrified of the man. I stared at the man. I couldn't see his face. Only his dark, cold eyes. "Just what do you think your doing kid!" The man yells at me. "What? Do you think your some "hero?." Ha! That's a joke!" He says and laughs. "I may not be a hero, but I don't care. I'm just here to stop you, and save the girl." I say, keeping a straight face. "Oh? And how will you do that kid." The man says. I honestly wasn't sure. But I knew I had to get the girl out of here. The man aims his gun at me. "We will see how long you will last." The man says. I hid all of my fear, even though I knew I was afraid.
I looked at the girl and said, "Get out of here. I'll be fine..Just go quickly and get help!" She nodded and quickly ran. The man aims his gun at her, but I jump in the way, knocking his gun out of his hand. "Oh no you don't!" I say and knock him backwards. The girl was out of sight. I then look at the man who got up, dusting himself off. I prepare for whatever would come next. Ready for anything. I step back, as the man quickly grabbed his gun again. I knew what I had to do. It was a bit risky but it was my only option. I took a deep breath. The man's eyes widen as he saw what I could do.
