I never knew that gigs like this required so much out of you. Then again, I do enjoy what I do. Whenever I'm singing on stage, I feel this small sense of freedom that I've never had before. It soothes me in ways that nothing else possibly could.

H was being annoying, again, by trying to rush me and M to go to the table for the autograph signing and photo shoot. In all honesty, I hated this part the most after performing. The fans are way too loud for me and they're right in front of you, even if we can't see them.

Once we sat down at the table for the autographs, I said my signature line as a way to announce that the signing was officially starting.

"Before we start, I have one question for you all... Are you ready?!" I heard the same cheers as I did before the performance started. "Then kneel down, you pigs!"

Everyone cheered and I could tell they got into their lines for whom they wanted an autograph from.

What made this so easy and fast was that we only had to use the letter we're assigned for our band names. With one line, I write an "L" on the papers or photos that my fans give me. I kind of like how these people restrain themselves than the other fans I've come across before. I keep my hand out for them to hand me the paper, I write my letter and hand it back, the next person puts their paper in my hand like the last. In other words, they're courteous.

I had to get up a few times for photos with a few of my fans, and they weren't bad at all. Nothing too crazy or anything I didn't like.

I think this had to be the first time I've enjoyed myself with my fans after a performance.

While we were busy, someone came up to me and whispered into my ear about the raffle. The person who was talking to me was my manager, Erwin Smith.

"L, it's about the raffle; we have a winner."

     "What?! You're kidding!"

"I'll take care of things here while you and the other two go and finish putting him through the test."

"Thank you," I looked over to H and M. "Guys, we need to head backstage, now."

     "Sure thing," M replied.

     H hummed in excitement.

I stood and walked towards the stage, all the while removing my blindfold when I was far away from our fans.

When I got to the back of the stage, I met Nifa. She's Erwin's secretary. She led me and my friends to where the possible lucky winner was and opened the door for us. I stepped inside and waited for H and M to come inside. I looked around the room and eventually my eyes landed on another person within it. He seemed to be a couple years older than me, probably, and he seemed like a good body build for the band. When I imagined him with a blindfold while performing, he seemed like he could draw in a lot of fans. He might draw in twice as many than M receives, and he's second to my fan count.

I walked up to him and cleared my throat.

"So you're the lucky winner, huh?"

     "Seems that way."

"You don't seem that enthusiastic about it, why's that?"

"My friends entered me into the raffle without me knowing, but after they told me I figured I'd try."

"Alright. I'm going to ask you some questions and a couple of them might seem a bit harsh to you, but I'll need you to answer me honestly."

     "Sounds fine by me."

"First and foremost, what's your name? If you end up being our newest member, we'll need a letter for you."

     "Jaeger. Eren Jaeger."

     "How old are you Eren?"

     "Eighteen."

He's a year younger than me? Well if he does end up being the new member then I'll finally have someone to talk to that's around my age.

"What can you play instrument wise? Or can you sing?"

"Both. I can sing and play guitar."

"Any specific guitar? Or in general you can play just about any guitar out there."

     "In general."

"Alright, so these next couple of questions might seem a bit nosy but we need to know to make our decision."

     "Lay it on me."

"What made you learn how to sing and play guitar? And what I'm looking for is something that made you fall into a depressed state."

"... Well, my father lost his job when I was thirteen and started drinking to ease how he felt. He'd abuse me and my mother, and eventually it became too much for her so she committed suicide right in front of me. My father almost killed me when he found out about mom's suicide, and eventually I was able to run to my neighbor's house and they called the police... That's about it, I suppose, unless you were looking for more?"

"Only if you want to share, but in all honesty, that's all I need."

"But L!" H chirped in, a bit alarmed. "We need more than that to just have a new member, you know that!"

"And I'm saying that what he told me is enough for me to personally choose him for an audition. If you want more of a story from him you can ask him later, but if he turns you down then you better not try and pry into his background history."

"L, listen to me! You can't just up and pick him for an audition!"

"If I remember correctly, aren't you the one who made this idea of a raffle for new members? We weren't getting anyone, but he's as close of a No Name member as we're going to get, H."

She stopped her arguing seeing that I had a point and so I turned back to Eren.

"Let's see if you're No Name worthy, J."

———————————————————————

Hey guys, here's chapter one to No Name. For the first chapter I wanted to focus on the raffle and the interview on Eren. In the next one I'm going to focus on the audition, so look out for more dialogue in that chapter when I put it up. Also, I think I'm going to start trying to write chapters in advance so I just have to publish them since that's what I'm doing right now (I legit wrote new chapters to four stories today, including this one, and it's Friday). So I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next one!!!
