Chapter Twenty-Two

     "Guess who."

     My breath hitched and I immediately began fighting back. The man behind me had uncovered my eyes just to cover my mouth instead as I had begun to call out to Eren as he lay on the floor unconscious. I tried to escape but no matter what I did the bastard behind me wasn't going to let me go anytime soon. Running out of options, I quickly bit down onto his hand. His hold on me slackened and I took the opportunity to quickly escape and give the man a roundhouse kick before he tried to grab me again. Using the opening I had, I rushed over to Eren and continuously swept his hair behind his ear.

     "Eren! Wake up! Eren!!!"

     "You needn't fret over his well-being; I'm sure he'll be on his feet in no time."

     "You bastard! What do you think you're doing?!"

     "As of today your little 'contract' is expired."

     "Gh! No, you're wrong! As long as I'm in this band and you're our manager you're not allowed to touch us in any way!"

     "Ah, but do you remember what else you said when we made our deal?" I was dumbfounded but then suddenly I remembered. "Judging from your face I think it's safe to say that you forgot."

     "As of today, you can't hurt us anymore."

     "I'm still not satisfied with the deal, so I refuse to agree to it."

     "Then what do you want out of this? What are your terms?"

     "I'll go along with everything else you've stated and passionately expressed, however I want this deal to expire at some point; there's a limit to how long a man like me can last without his favorite toy."

     I gulped hard before continuing. "What are you suggesting?"

     "My term is simple: This deal shall expire the day you sleep with someone other than me. That's all."

     "W-what?!"

     "I can't have you falling in love with someone who isn't me, much less sleep with you. So, when that day comes this deal will be terminated and I will be allowed to do as I please with you from that point on."

     I couldn't believe him. He's outrageously psychotic! However, if that's all it is then I have no reason to say no. After all that he's done to me, I don't think I'll be sleeping with anyone without having the memories coming back.

     "Do we have a deal?"

     "... Deal." I shook his hand, signed our contract, and left the room with the paper in my hand.

     "So, what say you? You going to go back on your word? If you do I'll have no choice but to severely punish the brat who thought he could claim something that wasn't his." He growled, glaring at the brunet on the floor.

     I couldn't let him touch Eren, much less hurt him. He's endured so much from his father and he's finally started coming out of his shell. I can't bare to be the one who ends up having pain inflicted upon him again, so I have no choice but to go back to the bastard who has defiled me beyond repair. My eyes shut tightly before holding onto Eren tightly and leaning down to his ear.

     With a shuddering voice I whispered, "forgive me Eren... I love you..."

     Laying a kiss on his head, I gently laid him on the floor and stood up. I kept my eyes trained on the floor as I made my way toward Erwin, but as I got closer something grabbed onto my ankle. I quickly looked down to see what it was and I was immediately shocked. On the floor, grasping my ankle with shear force, was the brunet that Erwin had knocked down. His hold on me tightened as he attempted to get up.
