Finally we had finished packing things up and we were heading back home, this time with a new member to the family. I sat in my usual spot, in the back by myself, as I watched M and H share jokes and laugh with Eren. I think he was glad to get away from his life he's been living up until this point, I could see it on his face every time he spoke with H and M. I'd like for us to spend more time with each other since we're about the same age, but I'm happy if he's happy.

As he continued to talk with my friends, I decided to browse the internet on my BlackBerry. After I took it out and unlocked it, I started searching through Twitter and Facebook before heading over to Google and browsing the news on there. There sure was a lot about us announcing Eren as the new member, however, I don't think the media or the people are with him yet. But I'm not that concerned for him yet, once they hear him sing, everyone will forget their odds against him. I hope.

As I continued to scroll through the media, my eyes landed on one website with a description to a blog. With curiosity overtaking my mind, I clicked on the link and started to read the blog once it loaded onto my phone's screen. As I continued to read the more I began to feel sick to my stomach; this blog was full of hate towards No Name. It became too much for me to keep reading, so I turned my phone off and gently tossed it to the spot next to me. I simply stared out the window but I knew that everyone else had their eyes on me, then I could hear Eren's soft voice.

     "I'll go talk to him."

I watched him as he walked up to me through the corner of my eye.

     "Is everything alright?" he asked.

"Yeah, I just read something that made my stomach twist and turn."

     "What was it about?"

     "... The band..."

"Are you sure it wasn't about me? The crowd wasn't so thrilled when we announced I was the new member."

"It wasn't about you, it was about the band in general. I didn't read all of it because it made me feel so, I don't know how to describe it, upset I suppose. This band is everything to me, and I'm more than happy to have a new member."

I stopped there as I knew I'd eventually get too emotional about this when really it wasn't too big a deal. However, this band really is everything to me, it minus well be my first family if anything more. Plus, I have a tendency to get overly emotional about something that I hold dear to my heart, so that's that.

"L, if you ever want to talk to me about something feel free to do so. It's the least I can do in return for your motivational speeches," Eren smirked and his green eyes glowed if only a bit.

I nodded and shared my own small smirk, or smile, before it disappeared upon hearing H giggling.

"What's so funny?" I asked, slightly irritated that I couldn't keep a conversation with Eren without being interrupted.

"Oh! Nothing, nothing at all. It's just that we've never been able to make you even smirk, yet the newbie did it so easily."

"There's a thing called age difference, Hanji," I said her name just to get my point across, and as a small attempt at revenge.

Doing that made her face turn bright red before she stood up and started taking her anger out on Miche, and at that point I felt kind of bad for him.

Eventually we had made it home and Hanji was the first to get out of the bus and inside the house. She didn't even bother to take her things inside with her, so now we have extra baggage to carry, and she brings a lot of stuff with her on each tour and brings home about twice as much.

With some hard work and effort, Eren, M, and I were able to bring everything into the house. The three of us sat on one of the couches in the living room, exhausted, and heard footsteps coming downstairs. It had to be H so I opened my eyes and straightened myself up.

"... I'm sorry I made you guys bring in my stuff; I was being childish. I'll make it up to you guys," we watched as Hanji bowed in apology.

"You're fine H. I was only messing with you since you messed with me, but it's all good now. So, what were you thinking of doing as an apology?" I questioned, honestly curious.

"I was thinking I'd cook for you guys, I hope that's alright."

"Hell yeah, your cooking is amazing. You have my forgiveness," I complemented as her cooking really was the best of the best.

Miche nodded in agreement and I smiled for Eren as a sign for him to trust me and our friends.

Tonight's meal was Hanji's special; stir fried chicken with fried rice. Miche and Hanji had began to talk with each other, and it made me think when they'd hook up already. As I watched them interact with each other, Eren came and sat next to me.

"H is a really great cook, she has my complements."

"This is only one of her many recipes she has lined up, though she tries her best to avoid cooking if at all possible. Miche and I still have no clue as to why as she's never told us; so, if she and Miche want to keep some things a secret, I'll keep my name a secret. Anyway, you must be hungry, that's your third helping isn't it?"

"Oh, sorry. Yeah, I guess you could say that I have quite the appetite to fill."

     "Why's that?"

"My father would only give me one meal a day, and it wasn't all that much to begin with anyway, but I'd make do with what I had only to live tomorrow."

"Well in that case eat as much as you want, Hanji makes too much to begin with so leftovers you can have. Don't worry, we'll take care of you. You're safe now, and I'm glad you're a part of our family now."

"I am too. Say, do you think Hanji and Miche will get together?"

"Hard to say, but in all honesty, I hope they do. And I hope you find that special someone too, Eren."

     "Same to you, L."

"Right then. If you're done, I'll show you to your room."

"Oh, I don't need a room. I'd be fine on a couch, honest. It's become a safe haven for me."

"Well, I'll show you it just in case you change your mind."

Eren nodded and we stood up together, placed our plates and silverware in the sink, and headed for the stairs that led to the upper floor where our rooms were. First room to the left was Miche's, then the second on the right was Hanji's, the third on the left was mine, and finally the fourth on the right is a room I completely forgot about. I led us to the room at the end of the hallway and opened the door before walking inside.

"We had this room whipped together after we came up with the raffle, just in case you know? Erwin sure does get things done, and he made sure it would be neutral to either gender."

"He certainly knows his modern day taste in design."

"You can thank his daughter, but yeah, he did a great job with this room. So, did seeing this change your mind?"

"No. Sorry, but, I'd feel safer if I slept on the couch."

"Could we bring a couch up here? It would put me at ease knowing you're in a room."

     "... Sure."

I nodded and sighed slightly. As I continue to talk with Eren the more I'm starting to think that making him comfortable here with us is going to be harder than I was expecting.
