I woke up early, well earlier than I was supposed to, took a quick shower before any of the Gladers woke up. It was another day in the Maze with Minho and Thomas this time, except for the fact that my telekinesis was working especially easily today. On command. I kept humming a song to myself as a piece of ivy cut itself, without stopping to give it a second glance. Thomas and Minho had expressions of shock. When we took a break, Thomas spoke up, 'Are you gonna play the thing today?' I was in a good mood so I nodded and pulled it out and pressed play on one of the more recent ones. 'I met Thomas and Teresa today. They were friends. I want friends too. They were kind. I was a kid. They weren't. They seemed happy. I was not. I was stoic, they seemed worried. I was not. They were recruited for helping in the Maze. They don't know much yet. Nor will they ever. I killed a person. It was not a guard, not one of my teachers. I killed a doctor. She almost put more drugs in me. I feel nothing. I want to think. I don't want to sing. But I will. I want to forget. But everything will come back soon. The worst always does.' Thomas had perked up upon hearing his name, but there wasn't much to learn except the fact that I killed another person. There was another song about wolves and to get to someone. I sang along.

After the break, we continued running till we saw the Cliff. Something, no someone, inside me awakened. The beast inside me. I walked near the edge to look at the clearing. I walked back to look at the wall behind me. I touched it, and concentrated. On what, I don't know. But I just did. Frustrated at nothing happening, nothing clicking inside of me, I put all of my willpower on the wall and made it explode. Yup, making it explode. Thomas and Minho were standing off to the side, nothing happened to them but small pieces of rock went flying everywhere. It avoided me as if I had a disease and in front of me was a passageway. I looked at Thomas and Minho, a little lightheaded but okay, smiling and we ran inside.
It was unlike any other corridor in the Maze. Minho was mapping it out while I was in front, looking for any signs of movement anywhere. It seemed as if it stretched for miles, even though it didn't. I could hear a faint high-pitched noise that was getting louder and louder every minute. I looked back to see Minho and Thomas examining the walls and the fact that there was no ivy on the walls. The ringing started getting louder and ......painful? I was pretty sure noises don't hurt, so I ran. I ran until the end of the corridor, where everything became blurry, the pain and the noise unbearable. I started breathing heavily, and screams started coming out of me, my hands on my ears. It was useless, but a reflex movement. Thomas and Minho were yelling at me to tell me what was wrong, but I could barely stand, much less speak. I could hear harsh voices, mumbling incoherently. I touched the wall, leaning on it for support. My hand must have touched something because the noises stopped and I could breathe. Minho asked me, 'What the shuck was that?' I shakily replied, 'I heard something, like the ringing after an explosion or something. It hurt like a lot. It felt like someone was trying to make a fucking omelet out of my brain.' Thomas muttered a 'Language', probably to himself.....or me. We all started jogging out of the weird place, suddenly creeped out by it and went back to the Glade, went straight to the Map Room, mapped out our findings, told the rest of the Runners and finally, Newt and Alby. To say that they were surprised would be an understatement. It looked like their eyes were gonna pop out of their sockets. They couldn't believe that I blew up a wall, let alone a wall in the fricking Maze. I couldn't believe myself either.

[ I know this wasn't the best update, but whatever. Next time I'll try to make it longer!]
