I couldn't sleep last night so I kinda wrote this at 1am my time this morning. Honestly I'm kinda surprised I only needed to edit one paragraph! Here you go, enjoy my sleep deprived writing!

I promise next chapter will be more... interesting...

Stephen's POV

I looked up from my phone as I heard the sound of keys rattling and felt an overwhelming amount of happiness, even through the brick walls that made up the entire house's exterior. Daniel was home. Both Hosuh and I had stopped everything we were doing to watch the hallway, waiting for our green haired friend to burst in.

"Guys! Guess what?" Came a familiar, excited yell as Daniel bolted in, now standing directly in front of the couch where Hosuh and I sat, hands on his hips. I glanced at Hosuh, watching as his nose twitched from the pride radiating off the boy but that was to be expected. Demons found the smell of positive emotions rather... unpleasant.

I leaned on the armrest, studying Daniel with amusement. "What is it Daniel?" Hosuh spoke quickly, trying to maintain interest without suffocating on the strong emotions. That just made the boy's smile grow as he reached into his pocket to pull out a card. His drivers license.

"Look at who just got his P's!" He yelled in excitement as he thrust the card towards me, a grin now on my face.
"Nice job Dan! How about we take your car for a spin tomorrow?" I suggested rather lazily. Beside me, I could feel Hosuh light up in excitement.
"Can we?"
"Why tomorrow?" Daniel asked me, plopping down on the couch, in between Hosuh and I. "Why not now?"
"It's getting late now and tomorrow is Sunday, so we'll have the full day to do whatever,"

After we made plans for tomorrow, we sat in silence for a few minutes. I could feel Daniel's amber eyes trained on my ear and his curiosity spiked drastically. Hosuh must've felt it too, as now his eyes were on me as well. "Stephen?" I heard Daniel ask.

"Yes?" I responded sharply, glancing in his direction.
"You're a spirit, right?"
"What makes you think that?" I asked, now curious on how he knew. The green haired boy shifted in his seat, uncomfortable.
"Well, I just had a feeling, since you knew about Hosuh..." he rambled slightly, averting his gaze. I chuckled, watching as confusion crossed his features.
"I am," I answered simply, confusion and surprise now on his face. From the corner of my eye, I could see Hosuh grinning in amusement.

"Wait, you're saying I've been rooming with a spirit for an entire year and I never knew?" Daniel reached up, grabbing onto his green hair as he tried to process the new information. "What kind?" He suddenly asked. "I'd guess either a demon or a devil," he added quickly, now watching me again, a newfound spark of interest in his eyes. I smiled, opening my mouth to answer his question.

"Angel," I suddenly heard from Hosuh, causing me to choke on my words.
"What?" I forced out, watching Hosuh with wide eyes.
"You're an Angel, right?"
I could feel my head begin to swim. I swear I had never told Hosuh what kind of spirit I was and here he was, guessing as accurately as if I had told him.
"Wait." His voice broke the silence. "That wouldn't make sense. You don't act like other angels," the demon leaned back in his seat, brow creased into a frown as he thought.

"No you guessed right," I mumbled, feeling my face heat up in embarrassment. I looked away as both Daniel and Hosuh perked up in both interest and surprise. "How did you know Hosuh?"
"Well, That earring you wear doesn't have a matching pair on the other side-" Hosuh pointed out. He was right about that. I wore the same piercings on both ears except for one, my charm, since no one could ever have two charms on them at once.

"-So I kinda guessed that earring was your charm," he continued, still leaning back, thinking. "And since it's a gemstone, I guessed that it was an angel charm, since demons and devils have theirs made from metal. Plus, Daniel just mentioned that you've been here for over a year and I've only known angels that have stayed on earth for longer than 12 months." I was in shock. Hosuh had figured it all out that easily. I was unsure on what to say so I just sat there, for once, finding the silence rather awkward.

"So," Daniel spoke suddenly, breaking the silence. "What's for dinner?"
