I'm really (not) sorry but I only wrote this chapter to annoy >:3

Enjoy~!

Shai's POV

"So you called me over to babysit a halfchild?" I sighed, trying to hide the annoyance that was building up in my chest.
"Shai, we're not babysitting her," Ivu responded coolly. "I just need help mentoring her. There's only so much I can teach her."
"So you call a demon to help?" I stated, voice monotone.
"Race doesn't matter. You're still a spirit and you're one of the most secretive ones I know," the white haired angel replied, her mouth pulling into a line as she tried to keep her cool with me.

"Guys can you stop?" A voice piped up, making both Ivu and I snap our heads towards the pink haired halfchild that stood in the hallway beside us. I could sense Pau's discomfort, although the smell was faint due to her newly found earthbound side.
"Alright, let's go then," Ivu glanced at me coldly before making her way to the backyard, unlocking the door. "Let's fly."

I made my way outside, watching as Ivu spread her small, snow white wings. A ring of light hung above her head and her ears extended out to a small, unnoticeable point. I let my own, crimson red wings spread behind me, shivering as the wind caught on my wing membrane, following Ivu into the sky. I grinned, it being forever since I last flew. I looked down, watching as Pau shakily begin to rise from the ground.

I chuckled, finding it funny to watch the girl shake in fear as she attempted to fly. I dropped, hovering in front of Pau as I reached forward, grabbing hold of her elbows. "Relax your shoulders and let the wind carry you," I instructed, watching as her shoulders dropped and she began to rise off the ground and out of my hands. I smiled, watching as her expression changed from fear to joy. Flying is easy once you know the trick to it.

Ann's POV

"Father," I called, trotting into the brightly lit throne room. I fell on one knee, bowing to the tall and radiant figure that sat before me. I waited patiently, feeling something rise in my throat. I swallowed.
"Speak, Annabelle,"
"Was it wise to make an earthbound so young?" I questioned, the crowded room falling silent in shock. No one questioned the Father and yet, here I kneel before him, questioning his decision.
"Leave, Annabelle," Father ordered forcibly, anger noticeable in his voice. "Leave now."

I stood, keeping my eyes trained on the ground as I turned to leave, making my way out of the throne room. I should avoid Father for a few days. Questioning him was a mistake. I could of ended up serving as a slave again, but this time for the angels instead of the godspawn.

While I was lost in my own thoughts, I realised that my feet had carried me to a balcony. I looked down, watching as the grey clouds swirled by my feet. I sighed, squatting to poke at the misty blanket. "The sky weeps for you tonight," I mumbled, remembering how my mother used to speak that phrase once a nearby human passed away and joined the spirit ranks. But now she's gone, I have taken it upon myself to give the humans of Canada a proper welcome into the afterlife.

I stood up, the cloud puffing up as it tried to keep in contact with my hand. The father was being unfair. This wasn't right. I climbed up onto the railing, spreading my arms out wide as I fell forward and down. Head first. Adrenaline overwhelmed me as I plummeted, the castle getting smaller and smaller and rain whipping around my ears as I fell. Down, down.

The wind howled as the ground came into view in the heavy mist, causing me to snap my large, feathered wings open. My bare feet touched the cold, wet ground. I was on earth. No Godspawn was allowed on earth.
