Daniel's POV
I felt something nudge my hand, snapping me out of my shocked blank. I turned to look at Stephen, who was not so subtly trying to force something into my hand. His purple eyes looked dull and lifeless as they were cast to the floor, as if making any eye contact would kill him.
I had never seen Stephen look so upset in the year I had known him. He wiped the tears from his eyes in annoyance as he closed my fist around Hosuh's necklace before turning to rush upstairs. Why was Stephen so upset? Why was Hosuh crying?
Why could I see my own body, lifeless on the floor?
Suddenly, three quiet knocks were heard and Hosuh's sobbing seized. I turned to go answer it when Hosuh spoke up, choking on his words. "Wait, I'll answer it," he mumbled, wiping his eyes and standing up. He walked over to me, eyes cast to the floor, just like Stephen as he grabbed at my hand, taking his necklace back before heading to the door.

Ann's POV
I quietly knocked the door three times awkwardly, knowing from watching mortals, that's how you call humans out from their homes. It's such a curious thing to do but I went along with it.
My large, pale pink wings twitched nervously as I heard something click and the door swung open slowly, revealing a long haired boy with puffy red eyes. He had been crying.
The grey haired boy's eyes widened as he saw me and he instantly dropped his head and moved to the side to let me in. He didn't speak a word or look at me once as I entered and I frowned. I always hated how other spirits treat my race.
"Quit the formalities," I spoke, my voice surprising the spirit and he looked up at me with blue eyes, shocked. He looked down again before stuttering.
"I-I'm sorry," he mumbled, dropping his human appearance and letting his small, demon wings unfold. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve."Don't be, I'm used to it," I smiled, carefully walking into the living room and spotting another spirit, sitting infront of an identical host. Although I couldn't sense his emotions, I knew he was trying to figure out what was happening.
"Daniel..." I heard from behind me, I turned back, watching as tears began to fall from the demon's eyes as he watched the green haired boy, unfamiliar emotions in his eyes.
"It's alright," I spoke quietly, rubbing the teenagers shoulder before he quickly knocked it away.
"No it's not!" He raised his voice, catching Daniel's attention. The boy stared back at him, shock and confusion in his amber eyes. "It's not alright," he choked out, gasping for air as the tears fell faster from his face."ITS NOT ALRIGHT BECAUSE DANIEL IS DEAD!"
