I woke up the next day and saw a text from a random number.

?: hey scaredy cat.

Me: who is this.

?: wow I am so hurt last night meant nothing.

Me: how did you get my number Johnny?

?: I texted my self from your phone last night.

I rolled my eyes as I got out of bed. I turned on the boys lights and went down stairs.

"Hi daddy." I don't know why but as if my body thought he could have sense that Johnny was here last night I rushed to pick up the bowls from last night off the counter and began laying out for breakfast with the boys.

"Hi sweetie you and the boys have a movie night?" He asked. I tried not to freak out.

"Um ya we watched avengers and then the boys fell asleep during brother bear ." I said putting milk in all of the bowls.

"Good good." The boy came down the stairs Kai holding Tommy's hand as they came down. I prayed to God that they did not bring up Johnny. I felt like I was horrible for trying to keep this from my dad. As the boys chose their cereal and stared at my phone.

"Are you not going to eat?" Asked my dad.

"No I eat at school. That's the only way we get there on time." I said. I was staring at my phone trying to figure out what to put Johnny in as so my dad did not know it was him. I had never had to do this before my dad liked Eliot I finally decided on Peter. I couldn't help my self it was either that or tinker bell.

Peter: when do you get to school.

Me : when the boys get dressed.

Peter: tell me when you leave.

"Go on and get dressed boys we need to go." They finished and went up to their room. "I made dinner last night their are left overs in the fridge if you want some." I went up stairs and got dressed. I put on a purple tang top and a gray shirt on over that then my jeans and knee high hiking boots. I went into the bathroom and put my hair up into a pony tail. When I came down stairs and packed the boys lunch my dad watched me.

"Don't you girls now a- days leave breathing room in your pants." He asked. I laughed as I put go-gurt into the boys lunches.

"I swear these are my real pants they are not painted on and I am aloud to wear these to school." I said grabbing their lunches and my bag. "Boys." I called. They came down and had their bags I handed them their lunches.

After dropping the boys off at school I got to my own school and text Johnny I was here. "Where is your guard dog today?" Johnny said as we walked out of the parking lot. I laughed and slapped him.

"He doesn't have younger siblings or a zero period so he gets here just before the first bell." Johnny grabbed my hand.

"Good that gives us plenty of time." He said pulling me off towards the tree he normally sat around.

"For what?" I asked following him.

"To potentially corrupt you with my friends before boy wonder gets here." He said laughing. We sat around with his friends till the first bell rang. They were not what most people made them out to be.

"What is she doing here?" Someone asked at first it sounded like a total sneer but their face seemed light.

"Sidney, Sadie, Sadie, Sidney." Johnny laughed. "The extreme pain in my ass." She sat across from Johnny.

"For him that means only girl that will put up with his crap." She said.

"This is your Eliot?" I asked.

"No I don't think Sidney has ever tried to get into my pants." He laughed. I shoved him.

"That is really gross okay Eliot has never tried that." I said.

Sidney laughed. "Poor guy has been friend zoned." I think my cheeks matched a fire truck.

"Hoping I have a better chance." Johnny said bluntly.

"We are just friends too." I laughed as my cheeks got redder. Johnny suddenly jumped up. He pulled me to my feet as I stood he knelt down like he was asking for my hand in marriage. Just as I thought my face could not get redder.

"Will you let me court you?" Half the student body that was around was staring not to much to but also some what of a surprise that included Eliot. Johnny grabbed my hand and brought my focus from the crowd that was around us. I did not know what to say people did not court now a days they went out even if going out only meant staying in.

"Sure?" The words pasted my lips like I was not sure if this was a joke or not. "Good." Johnny popped up form the floor. "Let me walk you to class?" He asked like he thought I would say no. "Okay." He picked up both of our bags. Like a child he pulled me towards my class.

Beliot: what are you doing?

I got this text on my way to class. "Tell him you are being courted." Johnny said grinning like a fool over my shoulder. I locked my phone and put it back in my pocket.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked John.

"Because I'm courting you walking a girl to class is part if that." My phone vibrated in my pocket.

"No why are you courting me?" I asked sarcastically saying court.
