On Monday I knew dad was gone already and I needed to get the boys up. We walked down stairs to see dad had preset out oatmeal I just needed to be heated up. Once the boys got dressed I packed their lunches and suddenly we were out the door.

Once I got to school Johnny was standing patiently by the tree. When he saw me he started to walk towards me. He had been texting me all weekend how he was sorry. If he apologized one more time I would have to slap him. "Hey." He said walking over. "Okay so what are we doing tonight?" He asked.

"Tonight we are doing what I told my dad were were doing on Saturday we are going to the library and doing some changes on our project so that way we at least know it is done." I said getting my things out.

"What about the boys?" He asked. Suddenly taking my things from me.

"They will be with us. Give that back." I said reaching for my things.

"You don't know how to let a guy be nice do you?" He said keeping them out if range of my grasp.

"I think your supposed to let me ask before you just take and not keep them from me." I said not giving up on my attempt to get my things back. Johnny's hight gave him an unfair advantage. "Disney how do I get my things back before I have to grow a foot." Johnny laughed putting my things up on top of my car as I went to reach for them Johnny pushed me against the car door. "Johnny stop." I said laughing a bit. He leaned against me.

"Why? I'm not doing anything wrong really." He said. He was right but Eliot, who I had not thought of all weekend, could be watching. It was not something of I was embarrassed of Johnny I just didn't know what to do about Eliot. For all I knew he would threaten to tell my dad. Eliot was not really the threatening type. Then again I also would have never thought he would hung out with Johnny. I didn't think I would either though so who was I to judge Eliot's past. "Sadie." Johnny said drawing out the last letter of my name waving his hand in front of my face.

"What?" I asked realizing I had spaced out.

"What were you thinking about?" He asked.

"Nothing much honestly but were you and Eliot ever friends?" I asked leaning on my car.

"I don't know if I would say friends but we hung out in the same crowd." Said Johnny.

"When did it stop?" I asked. Johnny entangled our fingers as he thought.

"About eighth grade. He changed over ninth after his buddy got arrested for being drunk, disorderly, and trying to sell some sort of drug to a cop. Your dad was the arresting officer." He said keeping his attention on our hands.

"How do you know all of that?" I asked looking up at him.

"I was the one to tip off your dad." He said he seemed to want to hide from the fact that he had helped my dad do anything.

"Why I thought you did not like my dad?" I asked.

"I don't he cut a deal with a few of the guys underlings and they continued to sell some on my block. I may not be a citizen of the year but I know what's right and wrong." Johnny said in a disgusted tone. I did not know what to say to that. I knew Johnny was not that bad but the thing was how did I respond to what he had just told me.

After getting my things back from Johnny. I went to class and at the end of school I picked up the boys. We went to the library. I sat the boys down Kai was doing his home work Frankie was reading and Tommy was coloring. I sat down at one of the computers and Johnny sat in a chair next to me. We had just finished the project when the Kai came over telling us they were hungry. Just as I was about to tell him we would eat when we got home Johnny said we could do movies and pizza over at his house. Kai knew that it sounded good but needed my okay first. I asked Johnny if he was sure and he said absolutely.
