"Frankie?"

"Yeah, cutie?" Frank answered, stirring the pancake batter gently.

It was Saturday morning and since Frank didn't have to work that day, him and Gee had decided on making pancakes. Well, Gerard asked and Frank just couldn't say no to the adorable boy.

"When's your birthday?" Gerard asked, spinning on the kitchen stool, watching as everything became less and less clear.

"Oh, it's on the thirty-first of October." Frank mumbled, waiting for the little squeal that was sure to come.

"Oh my god! Your birthday is on Halloween!" The Boy exclaimed, practically bouncing up and down on the kitchen stool.

"Yeah." Frank laughed, smiling down at the batter. He felt quite flattered that Gerard thought the date of his birth was cool.

"Wait- is that why you have Halloween tattooed on your fingers?" Gee asked curiously.

"Yeah, Gee." Frank chuckled again, turning around to pour the dough into the pan.

"That's so cool." Gerard whispered, mostly to himself. "What do you want to do for your birthday?"

"Umm, well I've never really had someone to share it with so... I don't know." Frank said absently, starting to flip the pancakes.

"What? You've never spent you birthday with anyone?" Gerard asked frowning.

How was that even possible? Frank was the most kind hearted person he had ever met, and not only that but he was probably the most handsome boy he'd ever seen.

"Oh, well obviously when I was little I spent it with my friends and family, but once I got older most of my friends went to college in NYC and I was left here. Plus, I never had relationship that lasted long enough that my birthday was during it." Frank explained, still focusing on his pancake-making.

Gerard's frown deepened as he swiftly got out of his chair and sneaked his way behind Frank.

"Well I'm gonna make sure you have the best birthday ever." Gee mumbled softly to himself, hugging Frank from behind.

The Punk felt himself blush softly. He turned around to face Gerard, his back pressed against the counter. "You don't have to... it's not a big deal."

"Of course it is, Frankie." Gerard said sternly, keeping eye contact with the Baker.

"Okay, if you say so," Frank mumbled before pressing a quick kiss to Gee's lips. "but you better get your cute butt back on that stool because the pancakes are done!" Frank exclaimed with much enthusiasm.

"Yay!" Gee exclaimed, grabbing Frank's hand and dragging the boy to the other side of the counter.

Frank laughed following Gerard with his perfectly made pancakes.

Frank let out little breaths as he slept soundly on the couch. Gerard was curled up at his side, still awake.

He was thinking of what he could do for Frank's birthday. It was now the second of October, and the boy wanted to be prepared for the boy's special day.

Gerard traced the tattoos on Frank's arm absently as he brainstormed different ideas. He was so deep in his thought process he hadn't realise Frank had woken up until he felt a pair of warm lips against his own.

The boy squeaked in surprise and blushed. Frank let out a raspy chuckle, his voice a few octaves lower due to having slept.

"What were you thinking so hard about?" Frank asked, amused. His index finger ran along Gee's jaw soothingly, making the other relax.

"Uh n-nothing." Gerard chocked out. He didn't want to spoil anything, because he feared it would cheapen the surprise.

"Hmm, okay." Frank mumbled with an unconvinced tone. His smirk never once having left his annoyingly handsome face.

"It's like super fucking late... do you wanna head to bed?" The tattooed boy asked, yawning.

Gerard nodded snuggling deeply into Frank, getting as physically close as possible. The Baker let out a little chuckle as he put his chin on top of the boy's head.

"Is this your way of suggesting I carry you?"

"Well... is it working?" Gerard asked in a soft tone.

"Like a charm." Frank laughed. He wrapped his arms underneath Gerard's knees and lifted the boy up.

Even in his tired state, he could still carry Gerard with ease. The boy was extremely light, and it seemed concerning but Frank always saw him eat and so he knew it was probably his high metabolism.

Gerard rested his head on Frank's shoulder, his legs wrapped around the boy's middle and his arms around Frank's neck. He was practically asleep already.

The tattooed boy's body warmth was incredibly relaxing.

Frank gently carried Gee to his bedroom and placed the pale boy down carefully. Gerard had changed into one of Frank's shirts and basketball shorts earlier so he wasn't in his tight jeans anymore.

Gerard however did still reuse to change in front of him, which surprised him a bit but it was fine. He would open up eventually.

Frank took off his own jeans before getting into the warm bed with his boyfriend.

The moment he did so, Gee cuddle up to him, letting out a little noise of satisfaction. The boy practically purring as Frank ran his fingers trough his inky black hair.

The two could probably stay in that moment forever, but alas, sleep was of the essence. And soon, it overtook the two boys.
