"This is more difficult than I thought..."

"So you just... hold it like this?" The brunette asked the girl looming over his shoulder. A satisfied giggle escaped the girls lips, followed by a reassuring nod.
"Yes... But don't hold them so tight, you'll end up breaking them." She informed him, loosening his grip on the two pieces of thin wood. Scrunching his nose up, the boy shakily tried to grab at the dumpling on his plate, only for it to slip out of the two pieces grip.
"It's okay Piers, it takes practice!" While she wanted to be optimistic about the whole endeavor, it has been three days already. (Name) had been trying to teach Piers for three days how to use chopsticks, and each time it was worse than the last.
"This is more difficult than I thought it would be..."
Often, whatever he tried to pick up would slip from his grasp. Other times, the sticks would just fall from his fingers themselves. The (hair colored) haired girl was starting to believe he was never going to pick up the skill she learned when she was figuratively born.
"(Name), I don't think I am ever going to be able to pick this up as easily as you-"
"Don't say that, now try again!" With a sigh passing his lips, he motioned for the girl to help him with holding the sticks, in which she graciously accepted to do.
Holding a pair of chopsticks in her own fingers, she showed the boy how to use hold them. Piers observantly watched the girl, how her lithe and agile fingers moved and utilized the two sticks. After, the girl set them down, guiding her fingers once more over the male's hand.
She positioned the sticks how they should be held; between the pointer finger and thumb, resting on the middle and ring fingers.
Supporting the boy to pick up a dumpling on his plate, she raised it to her boyfriend's lips, much to his surprise. Before he could say anything, he was cut off by the girl pressing a tender kiss to his temple.
"You deserve it after practicing so hard today. Perhaps tomorrow we can try again..."

"Piers, look what I got you!" The giddy (Name) scampered about the house, trying desperately to find her brown haired boyfriend. Much to Piers' curiosity, he peaked his head around the corner of the kitchen.
Making a beeline towards the shorter and smaller girl, Pier placed his hands on her waist, tilting his head to see what she was holding. It looked like a case of some sort.
"What 'cha got there, sweetie?" He asked, in which she opened up the case with a sly smirk.
The most Piers could do was deadpan at what was before him. Did his girlfriend really think he was struggling so much? He himself could have sworn he was getting better!
"Are those..."
"Yes!"
Taking them into his fingers, he was surprised how easily he was able to manipulate the device in between his fingers, remembering all that his sweet girlfriend taught him (prior to what he received mere minutes ago). He admired the green color it beheld, the small dog at the end of the pieces, linking it together.
"Training chopsticks...?"
(Name) couldn't help but nod her head, her lips innocently curling into the widest smile Piers has seen her hold. He hadn't seen her so happy since he asked her to be his girlfriend. The simple thought that (Name) was so patient with him, and thoughtful was enough for a grin to make way onto his own features. Not only that, but he began to bustle with laughter.
Embracing the girl tightly, (Name) desperately wrapped herself into his hold, closing her eyes.
"I love you, (Name)... Thank you."
"Good." She began, her smirk growing, "Maybe now you can finally pick up a dumpling on your own!" Squealing with laughter, she couldn't help screaming for Piers to put her down, as he hauled way up the stairs.
"I just did. And I didn't need chopsticks... I think this is the part where I eat you up~?"
