Chapter 15

Lee Ji Hyun's POV

I watched them disappear before I turns my back and start to walk towards my house. It feels like it's already a long time ago since I got here meanwhile it was just yesterday. The door is unlocked since yesterday, I just hope that there is no thief inside.

After I locked the door, I decided to take a rest for a while but before I step my foot inside my room, I heard a noise coming from my living room. I stopped and I can feel my heart beating so fast.

Walk towards it, I grab a knife on my way. I can feel my heart beats faster when I reached the living room.

"What the hell are you doing here?!", I yelled at Jae Won oppa who turned out to be the intruder. Or at least Jae Won oppa's body.

"Get out of here!" I yelled again but he just smirk at me.

"Easy. I come in peace", he said casually.

"You took everything from me and almost kill me. Twice. Now you're saying that you come in peace? You know what? I don't care. Get the hell out of here ", I yelled at him nonstop.

"Look, I'm sorry okay? Stealing your fiancé and your friend's body is their fault. If only they didn't get involved with you, they might live for now. As for killing you, I never intended to. The first time, I just tried to manipulate your memory. And the second one, well, I know you'll survive by yourself. I've seen you using your power. Twice", he answered me calmly like the idea of people's lives is nothing for him. It makes me sick.

"Then you should concider to come back here cause I can kill you right away. Beside you can't be here. They said that this house is protected...".

"From outside. Yes. Not gonna work if I'm already inside, right? As for you killing me... Nah, I don't think you have that in you. You're just too... Sweet", he said mocking me.

"Yeah? Try me". I challenged him.

"Look Princess. I told you I come here in peace to tell you the information about your parents. But... If you refuse, well..."

"What are you talking about? What about my parents?", I asked curiously. Is it just another trick? My parents is dead along time ago in a car accident. Why did he bring them up now?

"Now you're listening. Good. Well how can I put this out. Your parents is alive. Both of them", he said it easily. My heart skip a beat and for a second I think I can't breathe.

"What?! You're lying. I watched them buried. They're dead. Stop lying!", I yelled at him. How can he bring this nonsense about my parents!

"You watched them get buried but are you sure they were in there?" It makes me question that day. Is it true? Or is it not?

"I don't believe you. You fooled me over and over. Do you think you can fool me again?"

"I know you'll act like this, so... I brought you some proofs", he said while waving a file in his hand and throw it to the desk between us. "Go on. Have a look".

I hesitated for a moment before I reaches out for it and open the file. There are some pictures inside of it. Pictures of two people that I knew a long time ago. People that I believe is dead. Until today.

"It can't be". Tears rolling down my face as I see through every pictures.

"So...", Jae Won oppa said as he stood up. His little movements makes me insecure so I reached for the knife again.

"Stay away!", I warned him. "This is... How...". I can't even finish my questions. There is too much questions. What the hell is he doing with my parents? If they alive why don't they searching for me? Did he do the same to them like what they did to my fiancé and my friend?

"I know there is a lot to take but I can guarantee that they are very much alive than your fiancé and friend. I just messed up with their memories so they wouldn't go looking for you", he explained it like he can read my mind.

"You're lying. I don't trust you. You are...". I could feel my tears all over my cheeks as I cry over his answered. How can he do this to me? He really took everything from me.

"Look Princess. We can debate this all day. Or, we can starting to negotiate the price for your parents", he said as he sit down again. Relax as before.

"Wh-what price? What do you want?", I forced myself to stop crying. It worked but I still can't catch my breath.

"Exo Planet's Grimoire. That's all", he answered shortly

"What? What the hell is that? I don't have it nor know where is it". Grimoire? I never heard such a thing.

"It's kind of your previous family's inheritance. But, it doesn't matter anymore, doesn't it? What matter now, is your existing parents, right? Well, you get it for me. I'll give your parents back".

"How can I get it for you when I even don't know where or what is that thing?"

"Well then I think it's time to order your knights to do some work, Princess"

"But..."

"No buts. Find it and give it to me then I'll give you your parents. Failed then... Well we'll see what I'm gonna do to them", he posed his threat before left me stood there.

So it isn't over yet. It's just getting started isn't it? What should I do?

After thinking about it over and over again, I decided to pay a visit to my knights. It's not even a day since I got back. I refused to call their phone and use my superpower instead to train my ability. If that bastard come back, I'll be ready to use it on him.

I tried to concentrate to use my new supernatural power to take me to their place. But it ain't easy as I thought.

"Ugh! This stupid power can't even work when I really need them", I nagged at myself.

I tried it for five hours and finally gave up. I rest my body against the bed but my mind still can't stop working. It seems like it will keep me awake until I find out how to meet them. Should I just give them a call?

I can't even think about it. Now I just feel so tired. Physically and mentally. I forced myself to go to sleep but instead of falling asleep, my mind flew away to these events that happened lately at Exo's dorm.

I was thinking about how can't I control my power this morning and how can one of them help me with their power, before I feel a sick sensation like being sucked into a hose. A second later, I found myself at the middle of a living room that I barely recognize.
