Lee Ji Hyun's POV

This was it. This was the place he told me to go. Alone. I was alone. An abandoned building in the middle of no where. Classic. The night was cold as if it knew what was about to happen. There was no light except the moonlight that shone through the broken windows. The smell of damp filled my lungs as I walked down the hallway.

The room got darker as I reached the end of the hallway. It led up to a big room with no windows. I used my power to light up the room. That was when I noticed a movement from the corner of my eyes. I turned immediately and moved the light between us.

"Impressive. You learned a lot, I believe?", the figure in the hood spoke.

I knew it was him. After all, I have heard those voice so many times. I used to love that voice. Now it was just a voice of a murderer and a liar.

"Step up into the light, Xanthos. I know it's you", I answered him.

"You finally called me by my real name. Do you remember me already, Princess?", He stepped into the light and let his hood down.

I kept reminding myself that it wasn't Jae Won oppa but, his face made me doubt myself.

"Your name is in the book. Xanthos, son of Xoroz, ruler of Xarox", I said curtly.

"It's nice to meet you again, Princess", he said with a big smile as he bowed down. "I am very happy that you call me. I thought you're going to forget your parents and live your life with your knights", he said 'knights' with a disgustingly.

"Where are they?", I asked as I didn't see anyone else in the room.

"Easy there. They're here. Where's the book?", he asked in return.

I sighed before I pulled out the grimoire from my bag and showed it to him. He stepped toward me immediately and tried to grab for the book.

"Uh uh. No parents. No book", I stepped back and held the grimoire with my arms.

"Of course. Come with me", he said as he hinted me to follow him.

I doubted for a moment before I followed him into another room. Unlike the previous room, there was nothing in that room except a 3feet tall cage. I moved the light closer to the cage and my heart sank when I saw two sleeping figures inside the cage. I noticed their grey hairs and skinny body that covered with torn and dirty clothes.

"Mom. Dad", a tears escaped my eyes as I tried to move closer to them.

"Nah uh. As you said. No book. No parents", Xanthos said as he moved between me and the cage.

I tried to control my self from crying as I looked him in the eye, "You want the book? Well, you have to be more prepared than this".

I light the fire in my hand and threw it at him. He moved and escaped the fire. But instead of angry, he laughed.

"Oh, I was betting you try to stop the time and left with your parents. Sadly, she won", Xanthos said before a cold sharp metal was already in my neck.

"I bet you would try to incinerate him", another familiar voice whispered in my ears as she pressed the blade harder onto my skin.

"General Vexan", I said as my heart beat faster in my chest.

"Tsk tsk, Exopyan. So... naive", she hissed.

"You know... I am a slow learner. I don't deny that", I said in a low voice. "But I learn", I added before I teleported out of her grip and landed on behind her.

The surprise was plastered on both of their faces. Vexan turned around immediately as she laughed, but she was absolutely look not happy about my escape.
