Chapter 3

Kelsey's POV

After I got Vegas back to the shelter I told the Coopers how to get him if they needed him and Im not there. You always put his leash on first he can just be a pain in the cage cause he hates it very much. Today I did my normal routine and got my family feed as normal.

"Hey its Friday. So you know what that means? What do you boys want for dinner?" I ask.

"Well I actually invited Sierra and Josie over and she wanted to welcome Mary and Archie back to town. So I told them we can host them all. Sierra wants the same thing from last month." My dad says.

"So.. Pork Chops, Mashed Potatos, with Broccoli, and a Apple Pie. I can do that." I say.

"Have I ever told you your the best sister ever." Kevin says.

"You have. Now I gotta go." I say.

I left and did my normal routine and before I knew it I was on my way to school. Everyone was excited about Archie being here. Well all, but one.

"Watson, are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah. Look at everyone. He is just one guy. A jerk nun the less." Watson says.

"Whatever happened between you two anyway? You never told me." I say.

"Well lets see he beat me out of my chances to be quarterback on our football youth team, He also got a solos in music class wether it was singing or guitar, and lastly he said I wasnt allowed to be friends with you." He says.

"Well I knew about two of those things, but we were kids then. Though not letting you be my friend doesnt sound like Archie." I say.

"Well it sounds like who he is now." He says.

"Hey I know you dont like him for what happened in the past, but its okay to let it go." I say.

"Have you let go of what he did to you. Thats what makes this worse he made you cry. Remember I found you in a ball in a booth in Pop's. Though your right I'll let it slid it was ten years ago. I just dont want him to make you cry again." He says.

I just hugged him and I looked over his shoulder and Archie had walked into the school and he looked right at me. Archie then didnt hesitate to walk over to Watson and I.

"Hey Kels. Its nice to see you again also its nice that your family is letting us come over for dinner." Archie says.

"Well my dad will do anything for Sierra and she wants to welcome you guys back. Also you and your mom arent allergic to anything right?" I ask.

"No. Does you dad want to know that?" He asks.

"No I do. Im making the food just as I always do. Every Friday I cook dinner for my dad and brother. Every second Friday of the month I cooks for them as well as Sierra and Josie." I say.

"You really do everything for your family." He says.

"Yeah. She really does. Ever since her mom passed she really took on the role of the woman of the house. That was 7 years ago. Such a strong woman we have here." Watson says.

"Thanks Watson. Well have a good day Archie." I say.

"You too." Archie says.

I took Watson's hand and we went on the other way and I looked back at Archie and he smirked at me. I looked forward and I had to remember. He is famous, a changed, and he hurt me all those years ago. I just dont know if I can let him in once again.
