Writer's POV
"Did you find this town Archie is in? Do you know who she is?" Zoey asks.
"He is in the town of Riverdale. The girl is Kelsey Keller. Her father is town sheriff, she has a 4.0 grade point average, and she volunteers at the animal shelter." A private detective says.
"So she's an animal loving nerd. I really dont have anything to worry about. Anything else?" Zoey asks.
"Well theres a dog she takes care of the most. He is due to be put down in one month if he isnt adopted. Also she has been arrested for breaking and entering to release animals from a company that tests on animals. That was last year. She has been clean ever since." The detective says.
"This dog and her breaking and entering past. This can be useful." Zoey says.
Archie's POV
I have been here a month and the last week was just different. Watson kept Kelsey from me as expected for being jealous. Though I have finished some new songs and Im proud of them. I was on my porch smoking when the door to my house opened.
"No." My mom says taking it out of my hand.
"Mom really?" I question.
"Its gross, stupid, and Im sick of it. Your quitting and getting help. I will not let you throw your life away for this bad habit." She says.
I was going to say something when I saw Kelsey walk by with Vegas. I got up and went to talk to her. When Vegas saw me he stopped walking.
"Hey Vegas. Hey Kels." I say petting Vegas.
"Hey Arch. I hate to be a rude, but I got to go." Kelsey says and began to walk away.
"Kels. Kelsey is Watson making you avoid me?" I ask getting in her way.
"No. I've just been busy. Why would you think Watson would do that?" She asks.
"He hates me thats why. Also I have missed talking with you." I say.
"Archie I really need to go." She says.
"Why?" I ask.
She didnt answer me and I noticed there were people around. I then realized it wasnt Watson's fault Kelsey doesnt want me around her. It was mine and the looks, whispers, and lies I caused people to talk about.
"Im sorry Arch." She says.
She just walked away from me headed back to the shelter. People were just watching me and so I headed back home. When I got home I saw my mom talking to my agent.
"There he is. My superstar." My agent says.
"Hey Porter. Why are you here?" I ask.
"Well after your mother took you and then that photo went viral... Well we have to do damage control." He says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"He wants you to do a livestream. Telling people I made you come home because you needed a break." My mom says.
"Fans will love that their favorite boy needed some rest." Porter says.
"I guess I could do that." I say.
"He also wants you to say this town ans these people are nothing. Though Archie he also wants you to tell everyone that Kelsey isnt someone you know. She just was so excited to meet you she started crying. So begining the sweet person you are you hugged her." My mom says.
"So the girl has a name. Whatever you dont know her she is just some fan." Porter says.
Before I had time to answer he got the livestream ready.
Livestream
"Hey guys its Archie Andrews here and I know the last months have been silent on my part. Im sorry you guys I.. I needed a break cause I have been really busy. Time off is just what I needed. Coming to this town was my mom's idea. Its nothing to me neither are the people here." I say and its a lie.
*Archie who was the girl?*
*Who was the girl you hugged?*
*Are you still with Zoey?*
"I am with Zoey still as for the girl she... She's know one. She just wanted a hug and it was taken out of contexts. She isnt anyone to me I promise all you that. She is no one." I say. That lie hurt worse then the other lie.
*Are you working on new stuff?*
*Rumor has it you are changing your sound?*
"No Im not changing anything about me. This is who I am. This will always be who I am." I say yet another lie.
I waved goodbye and shut it off.
End Livestream.
"That was amazing. Nice job." Porter says.
I then looked at my mom who was clearly broken about what I said. She just walked away from me. I then got message from Jughead, Betty, Kevin, and others and they were mad at me. Archie Andrews who have you become.
