Chapter 4

Archie's POV

Reggie Mantle had asked me if I could still play football and I said that I could. They have an extra spot on the team and I was welcomed to join. If I have to play just in Junior year then go back to LA then so be it. The coach made me do the tryout routine and once I was finally finished he looked at me in shock.

"Wow you really can do it all. Welcome to the Bulldogs." Coach says.

"Thanks." I say.

Most of the team came to congratulate me.

"You on our team will bring even more of an audience." Reggie says.

"Yeah. We already had the town before, but this will make alot more show up." Chuck says.

"Thanks guys." I say.

"Big deal. So what. He can play football just like the rest of us. Just because he is famous doesnt mean he is really that big of a deal." Watson says.

"Jacobs, dont be stupid." Reggie says.

"Its okay Reg. Watson is just still mad that I always was ahead of him. I was and still am number one compared to him." I say.

"Yeah maybe to yourself, the world, and Riverdale, but you arent number one to Kelsey anymore. She doesnt like you." Watson says.

"That might change now that Im back." I say.

"Yeah. Except this time Kelsey is my girlfriend and you are not allowed to be her friend." He says.

He walked away from me and it was no surprise he threw what I did to him back in my face. After practice I went home and had to get ready for tonight. Although Watson's words played in my head though tonight he cant stop me from being around Kelsey.

"Hey Arch. You ready?" My mom asks.

"Yeah." I say.

Before I left my room I got a call from Zoey. Omg its only been like two days and I forgot my girlfriend and was in a way fighting a guy for another girl.

Phone Call

Zoey: Hey Handsome. Can you come home yet?

Archie: Not yet. Although the Major is having us over.

Zoey: Well get back here. LA is boring without... Hey! Did I say you can come into my dressing room! No! Get Out! Sorry I miss you.

Archie: Yeah I miss you too.

Zoey: You okay? Cause I really miss seeing your face... Ugh got to go now. Stupid bitch I dont care if she is my mother..

End Call.

Wow Zoey can be alittle well... I... I dont know what to think. I made my way downstairs and my mom was waiting. Then we headed over to the Keller's and when we got there Kelsey opened the door and right beside her was Watson.

Kelsey's POV

Archie looked alittle confused when I opened the door was it me? Maybe its the fact that Watson is here.

"Well come on in you two. Dinner will be ready soon. My dad and Sierra are just in the living room with Josie and Kevin." I say.

"Well it smells good in here." Mary says.

"Well it should this girl has been working very hard." Watson says.

"Well I'll go join the others." Mary says.

Mary went the other way and I was just left with Archie and Watson. Though I had to have Watson leave.

"Now Watts I'll call you tomorrow. Thanks for keeping me company and helping out." I say.

"Of course lovely." Watson says and kisses me.

It lasted longer that a goodbye kiss really does and I think it would of last longer if someone didnt knock over the coat rack.

"Oh god Im sorry." Archie says.

"No worries I got it. Again I'll see you tomorrow Watson." I say.

As I picked up the coat rack I noticed small glares from both boys to each other. I didnt not like that it means that once again these two are enemies. Once Watson left I went into the kitchen and Archie followed me.

"I am really sorry for knocking that down. I was just trying to get out of the doorway so you two could be alone." Archie says.

"Thats okay. Hey why dont you get the others. Dinner is now ready." I say.

"If thats what the lady wants." He says.

Archie went to get everyone as I plated dinner and got everyone their meals. It was a lovely time with all of them although Archie keep randomly looking at me and its okay. We can be somewhat friends again. I dont see what the world or Watson is talking about. Archie seems like a nice person just like he was before. Maybe its Riverdale that makes him this way or maybe it LA that makes him the other way. Although its only been two days alot can happen in the next couple of months.
