Chapter 9

Kelsey's POV

I had decided to leave school for lunch at Pop's with my dad cause I couldnt take the whispers. Watson is mad and he has every right to be. After Archie was being sweet to me a photo went out and so many people saw it world wide.

"Kelsey not that I dont love to spend time with you, but are you okay?" My dad asks.

"Yeah. Except all eyes are on me and Watson is mad. He has every right to be. Its everywhere. Archie being a sweetheart and hugging me went world wide. I dont know what to do? Also who posted it? This is just to much." I say.

"Well Alice Cooper posted it on the registers website and someone must of found it and speared it world wide. Look its just a photo of a sad girl being comforted by a friend. A famous friend who has a girlfriend and was publicly a pain, but still a friend." He says.

"Dad, Archie isnt that bad guy they write about. Sure now he smokes and drink.. and fights, but he has been here for what like almost a month and he hasnt acted like that recently." I say.

"To you he hasnt acted like that. He was smoking the other day outside of Pop's. He was drinking and when I told him to give me the bottle he threw it at me. Also I had to he called because him and some other guy got into a fight last night on the street. Archie isnt a good person anymore and I want you to stay away from him." He says.

"But..." I say.

"Kels before Archie came here you were just the sweet girl who everyone loved. Now your the sweet girl that girls are jealous of and has the world wondering who you are. I dont want you to get hurt and Archie will hurt you. Now Watson is a good one." He says.

"Right... Hey I gotta get back to school." I say.

I went back to school and all I could think about was my dad and what he had said and after school I went with Kevin to the shelter to check on Vegas.

"How was lunch with dad? Lunch at school was brutal some kids were calling Archie a girlfriend stealer. Where as others called you words I shouldnt say." Kevin says.

"Kev, do you think Archie is bad?" I ask getting Vegas out of his cage.

"No. He has been really great well to me. God I wish he liked men. Anyway I think being around you is starting to make him Archie again. Sure he has his moments, but they arent as frequent as they were in LA." He says.

"Dad thinkings I should stop talking to Archie all together and focus more on a boy who wont hurt me." I say.

As I was filling up the bath for Vegas, Kevin was just talking and I wasnt paying any attention to him until the end.

"Well long story short. Watson is great, but Archie needs someone like you in his life. Also I dont think Archie would hurt you. Sure he has before, but I think he has learned his lesson." He says.

Kevin then just kept talking as I bathed Vegas. You know both boys are great, but Archie wants to go back to LA and be the star he was meant to be. So I think I'll stay with the safer choice. I rather that then get hurt by a boy whos life is always in the fast lane.
