Doyoung shoved his hand into his bag of frosted animal crackers and popped a pink one in his mouth,"So, you want me to distract everyone else so you can go on a date with Taeyong?"
Jaehyun held his hands out in front of him, his left palm resting against his forehead,"Yeah, but let's not call it a date."
Doyoung held the cracker between his index and middle finger, his hand halted before his ajar mouth,"Dude, you both said you liked each other. It's a goddamn date no matter which way you look at it, Casanova."
Jaehyun reached forward towards Doyoung's bag of crackers, earning him a slap on the wrist and releasing a sigh,"Where's Taeyong anyways?"
"Johnny dragged them all out to go get ice cream. Except us I-" Doyoung lowered the bag, giving Jaehyun a chance to steal and cracker and stuff it in his mouth.
The brunette perked up, a sarcastic eye-smile and tap of the shoulder was given the Doyoung,"Just distract them for me tonight, okay?"

"I said distract them." Jaehyun gazed at Doyoung with a stoic expression, along with the other five boys around them.
The older carelessly shrugged,"They insisted and still came anyways, what was I supposed to do?"
Jaehyun, for a moment, had to hold himself back from choking Doyoung. He sharply exhaled,"You know what, it's fine."
Jaehyun left Doyoung and sauntered towards Taeyong. He leaned towards the older's ear and whispered. Without hesitation, Jaehyun grasped Taeyong's wrist, both of them sneaking off behind the rest of the group in the crowd.
A giggle escaped Taeyong's lips as Jaehyun pulled him along the crowded streets, reminding him of that one scene from Titanic. At least he thought the scene was from there.
Despite the co-exsisting awkwardness between the two ever since confessing, it didn't change the fact that the time spent with Jaehyun felt almost as much as ethereal to Taeyong.
They stopped their running once in front of a smaller appearing restaurant. Taeyong leaned forward, clutching his knees as he heavily and tiredly panted while Jaehyun seemed perfectly fine.
"You're not- you're not tired?" Taeyong asked the younger in between breathes.
"I do running for basketball practice; this isn't much. Let's go inside before they find us, okay?"
Taeyong trailed Jaehyun as the brunette walked into the restaurant that strongly resembled a 1950's cafe. The pair scooted into a booth away from the windows and sat across from each other. Jaehyun removed one of the menus from behind the napkin dispenser, his eyes beginning to pan the laminated sheet.
Taeyong grabbed the other, rather than looking at the options presented on the menu, his eyes drifted towards Jaehyun. How was it possible for someone to look so flawless without the slightest bit of effort?
The brunette looked up the menu, his eyes meeting Taeyong's, resulting in the older diverting his gaze with a peach tint ever-present on his pale cheeks.
A waitress approached the table, a yellow notepad clutched by her red painted fingertips,"Do you guys need help with anything? Drinks?"
Jaehyun gazed at Taeyong, asking with his gaze whether he was ready to order or not, Taeyong silently nodding in reply.
Jaehyun turned towards the waitress, a resting and soft smile painted on him; one that Taeyong couldn't fail to notice. Taeyong quickly snapped back into reality though as the waitress turned towards him, the older not even aware that Jaehyun had finished.
"And for you, sir?" Her orotund voice questioned.
"Uh, just the strawberry milkshake."
Her pen scribbled against the paper before quickly declaring,"I'll be back with your order," and leaving the two alone.
Taeyong folded both of his hands together, his head leaning against his closed fists and starring onto the vintage posters hung on the wall,"Do you think Doyoung realized we left yet?"
The latter leaned closer to Taeyong,"Knowing him, I'm pretty sure he'd care less if we were kidnapped right now."
The raven-haired softly laughed while his fingers grasped the salt shaker at the edge of the table, softly swinging it between his index finger and thumb.
Jaehyun thoughtlessly peered onto Taeyong, his palm set under his chin. The two's silence was only interrupted when the waitress returned, this time with a red tray carrying food in hand.
She set down two milkshakes, one strawberry and one vanilla, a burger and a basket of fries on the table before setting down two straws on the table and walking away.
Taeyong moved the pink shake towards him and inserted the straw through the whip cream. He thoughtlessly sipped, watching as Jaehyun began to eat his burger.
The brunette grasped two of the fries and dipped them in the surface of the milkshake before meeting Taeyong's stare,"It tastes good, trust me."
Taeyong's fingers tightened around the edge of the red straw, repetitively lifting it up and thrusting it back down into the cup. By the next time he looked back at the brunette, all the food in the red netted baskets and milkshake had disappeared.
"Taeyong," Jaehyun called out to the older, his head still held up by his palm.
Taeyong perked up,"Yeah?"
"Can I kiss you?"
It was that familiar feeling again; the one where it felt as if Taeyong's heart exploded and blood rushed to his ears and cheeks, painting them a red.
"U-um, I mean-" Once again he didn't know exactly how to answer, nor did he understand how Jaehyun could confidently say such things without too much embarrassment. And if he was embarrassed, he surely was good at hiding it. At least to Taeyong he was good at concealing it; any one else would have easily noticed how red Jaehyun's ears became in this moment.
Taeyong's words were all stuttered and mumbled until they became indistinctive, inaudible sounds. Jaehyun quickly pushed himself off the seat, his soft lips pressing against Taeyong's thin pair, the faint taste of strawberry and whipped cream present.
Taeyong stared wide-eyed as Jaehyun pulled back, a soft exhale and smile curved his lips.
