Taeyong shuffled his hands through his drawer, a sullen expression on his face as he pulled certain clothes out and stuffed them into a black duffel bag.
He overlooked everything in the bag once more before zipping it closed, picking it up and walking out of the bedroom.
Jaehyun got up from the chair at the dinner table, his car keys in his hands,"Are you ready?"
Taeyong softly hummed, his eyes diverting all around the room,"I don't want to go."
Jaehyun shoved the keys back into his pocket, his arms wrapping around Taeyong's body,"I don't either, but I want you to get better." He softly exhaled as he pulled back,"Let's go."
Taeyong daintily nodded in response, tightly grasping the duffel bag as both of them left the apartment.
Walking out of the building, Taeyong looked up from the ground, his eyes landing on Doyoung, Ten and Johnny. His head perked up while he halted his body in front of them. His slightly cleared his throat,"What's this?"
Doyoung hung his arm around Taeyong's neck,"We came to say bye, duh. Donghyuck and Mark couldn't make it though."
"You didn't have to. I know you're all busy-"
Doyoung pressed his index finger against his own lips,"Shush," his eyes glanced down at the bag in Taeyong's grasp,"You got this, okay?"
A lump slightly tightened his throat as Taeyong softly nodded and hummed in acknowledgment.
Johnny, with Ten trailing behind him, approached Taeyong, practically suffocating the latter with a bear hug, Ten joining in shortly after.
The taller male began,"What Doyoung said. You'll be able to get better."
Taeyong wiped away his oncoming years with his sleeve, his body shortly after being comforted by Jaehyun's arm wrapping around him.
"We should go now. I'll see you guys later."
Taeyong wiped his eyes one last time before heading towards the door of the passenger seat, softly waving bye at the other three boys which stood there.
He pulled open the door of the car, setting down the bag on the floor of the car then seating himself.
Jaehyun sat in the driver's seat, turning on the car then pulling out of the parking spot.
As the car began driving, both boys fell silent, the humming of the road and the low volumned radio being the only sounds. Jaehyun quickly glanced over at Taeyong, unhesitatingly grasping the latter's hand and tightly intertwining their fingers.
"Jaehyun, I'm scared," Taeyong quietly stated, his voice slightly cracking.
Jaehyun ran his thumb over the surface of Taeyong's hand,"It'll be okay, I promise you."
Taeyong wiped his right cheek with his sleeve as his eyes began to tear up,"I don't wanna leave you and be alone again."
The words that Taeyong muttered through his brittle tone seemed to tug onto Jaehyun the hardest.
The brunette sharply swallowed, unsure of what to reply to his boyfriend,"You won't, okay? You're not leaving me, and you won't be alone."
Taeyong subtlety nodded, his fingers tightening harder around Jaehyun's hand.
Minutes slowly passed before the car was silently parked in the lot of the hospital. Taeyong panned his eyes around the lot, then drifted his sight to Jaehyun's side profile.
Jaehyun hesitantly turned his head,"We should get out now," he placed his hand on the handle,"Let's go."
Taeyong gripped the handle of his duffel bag, his opposite hand dragging over the lock and pushing the door open. Stepping out into the lot, Jaehyun stood by him and held his hand. They walked to the entrance of the hospital, the automatic glass doors allowing entrance.
