"It's happening isn't it Albus."

"I'm afraid so, we will have to keep a close eye on her, as well as Neville."

Albus put his hand on the shoulder of the man before him in a comforting way. "We always knew this was going to happen."

"No we didn't. We had no way of knowing if he was ever going to come back. I know you always said he was never truly gone, but-" The second man said.

"We hoped." The first man said.

"I know, we all hoped, but we can't prevent the inevitable." Albus looked between the two men. "He is returning, not yet fully, but it will happen soon, and Neville will be at the center of it. Your daughter must be protected, at all costs."

As y/n blinked her eyes open, light blinded her momentarily. She sat up, and her head pounded, forcing her to lie back down. "Hey, hey, don't try and get up."

"Pops?"

"Yeah I'm here." Y/n sat up and hugged Sirius. "Why are you here?"

"Dumbledore owled us. We came straight away." Remus said, sitting on the side of the bed and hugging his daughter. Madame Pomfrey came bustling over. "How are you feeling dear?"

"My head hurts a bit, but a part from that I'm fine." Madame Pomfrey nodded, and handed Y/n a bubbling red potion, which she drank, instantly feeling better.

"What do you remember?" Sirius asked, concerned. He hadn't taken his eyes off his daughter for one second.

"Not much. I remember I was in the common room, with Fred, George and Lee, and then suddenly, pain." She shivered at the memory. "And then I woke up here." Sirius nodded, still not taking his eyes off her.

Remus looked at his husband, at saw it was clear he wasn't going to say anything, so he began to explain, "You suffered some kind of seizure, then passed out. Your friends carried you down to the hospital wing, and met Professor McGonagall on the way, and she went to get Professor Dumbledore, who wrote to us straight away." Y/n nodded in understanding.

"Where are they?" She didn't need to elaborate who. "Sitting outside, waiting. Lee went home, for Christmas."

"How long have I been asleep?" she asked, suddenly perplexed.

"Just over a week." Y/n's eyes widened. "What did I miss? How long have they been sitting out there? Have they slept? Have they eaten?"

"They boys are fine monkey." Sirius said comfortingly, "We made them promise they would only come and wait when they weren't asleep or eating. They refused to go home for Christmas."

Y/n sighed, "Of course they did." she gave a small smile to her two fathers, before enveloping them in a hug.

Suddenly, the door burst open, and Madame Pomfrey jumped aside as two ginger boys came sprinting up the hospital wing towards the only occupied bed. "Y/n!" "Are you okay?" "How are you feeling?" "Are you still in pain?" "I'm fine boys, really." She smiled at them, and the two boys seemed to let go of a breath they didn't know they had been holding. "Oh thank Merlin." George said, sitting on the end of her bed.
