Chapter Two

Tori's POV

Andre keeps looking at me surprised. I'm actually surprised myself. I actually got the courage to break up with that jerk.I seemed to have zoned out, because Andre looks like hes me asking me questions, but I'm not really paying any attention. I look at his shirt, which is now soaked with my tears and my makeup. How could I let someone else affect me this much? "Chica?" I am suddenly brought out of my thoughts when Andre looks at me all serious. I nod questioningly. "Did Ryder do this?" He looks like he has a serious look in his eye. It could only mean one thing, he'll end up hurting Ryder. The look in his eyes makes me feel protected, yet scared. I gulp, and whisper "Yes... Plus some of his friends..." Andre looks at me, hugs me tighter for a minute, then he lets me go. He pulled out his phone and dialed someone real fast. He goes to the Kitchen and grabs something. His car keys. All I could hear was an "okay thanks, girl" Then he hung up on the person on the other end.  "Andre, what are you doing?"  He walks back in and simply says " Wait here" A few minutes later we heard a car pull up and  car doors shut. Suddenly there's an all too familiar knock on the door.  Andre opens the door a second later and in walks Jade and Cat. They take one look at me, and they both have worried expressions. Jade's is a little more concerned though. She seems to have noticed her reaction because She shakes her head as if trying to convince herself that she doesn't care. "Gee, what Happened to you Vega?" Before I could speak, Andre spoke up. "Ryder's what happened" Jade looks at me frightened.  She snarled through her teeth "I'll kill him!"  Wait, Jade West actually cares about me? "It's my job to hurt Vega, not some douchebags!" Annnnnndd there it is. I was waiting for that. " Well, I'm about to pay Ryder a visit right now. You want to help?" Andre looked at Jade with a look of seriousness. I got up to protest, but because of the condition of my legs, I fell. I looked down at the floor, eyes shut. I was scared to open them, I didnt hear a thud though, and didn't feel any more pain than what I was already in. I open my eyes to see I wasn't fully on the floor. Someone had caught me. I look up, and surprisingly, my eyes met emerald green eyes. Jade had caught me. "Don't get used to it Vega" She playfully smirked. "I'm heading out to the car, be there in five, Jade. Or I'm leaving you behind. " Andre turned and walked out. Cat followed him to see if she can get him to calm down. Jade picked me up and laid me down on the couch. "You know he's upset when he isn't caring about little Miss Sally Peaches' fall". I look at her, taking in her beauty. I look at the floor to avoid the  current thoughts coming in my head. "I've never seen him this upset.." I whispered.  "oh yeah? Just wait until you see what I'm going to do to the douchebag. Nobody hurts my cr-" She stops talking for a minute and gets this look in her eyes. The look of surprise, and something else I can't quite place. She smirked. "Crazy Enemy" She tucked me in on the couch, got up and walked away, but turned back around to me when she was at the door,With a serious look. "Don't worry, he'll pay for what he did. I'll send Cat back in to watch over you" With that she turned and left. I turn to my side on the couch. I wince in pain. It hurts like Chiz. I start thinking about Jade. Everything about her. Her smirk, her laugh, everything. I didn't even notice Cat walk back in, I know she is an actress and everything but she can't hide the pain and sadness she had the other day from me. She strokes my hair trying to comfort me, then turns on a Disney movie. Not too loud though.  She must think I'm asleep. Soon I actually do drift off, thinking about Jade. When will I tell her?..
