Tori's Savior (On Hold For A Bit)

Chapter 7

Beck's POV

Cat and Robbie have been back there in Kate's room for a while. We all are getting pretty worried about both of them, but no one wants to leave them alone here. I keep looking at Tori. All these bruises on her, I wonder who or what put them there? She's so beautiful. Who would do such a thing to her?

I don't know why, but Jade keeps staring at Tori. Did she do something to chiz her off? I need to figure this out. I get up and start walking towards Jade. 

"Guys! Guys! My sister's awake!!" We all turn our heads towards Robbie and make our way to Kate's room. I guess talking to Jade will have to wait until later. We all walk in and the first thing we see is Kate and Cat hugging tightly.

Kate looks really bad though. The cuts and bruises look really bad. They look like Tori's.  Whoever did this to them will be rip apart by me. This is bad. I sit there in the chair staring at the bruises. Barely paying any attention to everyone else.

After about an hour of everyone chatting with Kate, her nurses walk in and tell us that everyone who is not immediate family has to leave. This is the perfect chance for me to talk to Jade.

We get outside,and  everyone starts walking towards the cars. Making sure Andre keeps and eye on Tori and Cat, I pull Jade to the side.  She seems reluctant at first but eventually gives in to talking to me. "What's the deal with you and Tori? You kept staring at her in there. Did she chiz you off or something?" She looks at me and for the first time ever, I see fear in her eyes. There's only one thing that I know Jade West is scared of.  " Jade... Do you?.. do you love her?..."  I look her over again to make sure my accusation was correct. Though I do still love her, we just weren't meant to be. She has tears in her eyes and looks down. I guess my accusation was correct. I reluctantly spoke up again. "You do... Don't you?.. " She shakes her head yes, and I pull her into the biggest hug possible. Even though she was nowhere near my ear, I could still hear her whisper. " I'm so confused about this.. all of this... and Why... Why are you hugging me?.." She looks confused and upset all at the same time. I have never seen her like this. " Because you're my friend and I love you. I may be your ex, but you are still my friend. I say go for it with Tori. She is a nice girl, and she looks at you with love in her eyes.  Though I do admit it makes me jealous, but what we had was long gone. The spark wasn't there anymore and I'm glad we are still friends. " She hugs me tighter. "Thank you, Beck" She smiles at me and we walk back to our friends in the darkness of the night. I guess the hardest part is for me to accept the fact her and I will never happen again.
