Chapter Six

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been busy with school and my phone has been messing up. Updates will be out as soon as they possibly can. For now, Enjoy chapter Six. ♥️

Kate's POV

It is dark. I am running in the woods, barely able to see a thing.  Snip Snap. I keep hearing the tree branches from under my feet break with every step I take. He's after me. The cold air is sending a shiver up my spine as I am running away from him. There is a cabin up ahead with very bright lights. I start running towards it as fast as I can. I reach the cabin and put my hand on the door handle. Another burst of bright light.

I jolt awake. I look around the mysterious room I am in.  My brother and Caterina are sitting right next to me. They haven't noticed that I have woken up yet. "R-robert? C-caterina?"
They both look at me stunned. They have tears in their eyes and I can tell my brother has been crying for a while now.  Caterina is the first to say something though. "Kate? Kate! Are you really awake?" I force a small smile on my lips. They don't need to know about the dream just yet. " Yes, Caterina. Im awake." I get engulfed into a large hug. I wince in pain. What happened to my body? " I'm so sorry Kate. I didn't mean to hurt you!" She looks down in defeat and I can see she's upset that she thought she hurt me. She's adorable when she is like this. "It's okay Caterina. I'm fine." I reassure her as Robert runs out of the room. I look after him trying to figure out why my brother just left the room. Where is he going? A few seconds later he comes back with some of our friends. All of them look relieved and okay, except Victoria. She looks like she has been through a shredder. After everyone gave me a hug and talked to me for a bit, I looked to Victoria questioningly. "Girl, what happened to you?" She looks down defeated. "The same thing that happened to you, Kate." What happened to me? I've been asking myself that question since I woke up. "What exactly did happen?" She starts to get up from her chair. She winces in pain while getting up.  I'm starting to get anxious. I want to help her. I move my arm just an inch off of the bed and I wince in pain. I can see Jadelyn trying to get to Victorias side to help her. I sit there cradling my arm, wondering why Jadelyn is showing the much care and affection for Victoria. She acts like I do to Caterina. A moment later, my attention is turned solely on the redhead by my side when she hops up on my bed, kisses my arm slowly, and snuggles her head into my shoulder. "We'll tell you later. For now, you need to rest." In that moment all my anxiousness was gone. All I could feel in that moment was Happiness and the feel of  her breathe on my neck. Sending shivers up my spine. I loved the feeling she gave me. I wonder if she feels it too?.

Sorry for the short update. But something is better than nothing. I have to be up at 3:30 in the morning for Drill practice so I need some sleep.  I will make the story chapters longer and better, I promise. But for now, with Drill, School, and JROTC, I may have to update only once every week-two weeks. I hope you all  understand and have a wonderful day/Night and enjoy. Love y'all. ♥️
