fuck you for making me think i was special

violet's pov;

"You know what? Fuck him. Fuck that piece of shit he calls his fucking girlfriend. God, that dumbass bitch ass—"

"You fucking smashed that fight Vi!" Shawn interrupts. I stare at him for a few seconds, his hand on the steering wheel.

"Thanks. I try." I say, proudly, flicking my hair back. He's right, I destroyed that hoe.

Any bit of guilt that I had for Ethan cheating on her with me was gone. I hated that bitch.

"How she out here thinking that she can fight?" I say, raising my brows.

"I don't even know." Shawn sighs. We both birst out laughing, eventually going into another conversation.

"Listen, I'm planning to have a bonfire next week and since I'm kinda new and since everyone knows you, can you help spread the word?" Shawn says, looking at me hopefully.

"Damn, new boy's having a party?" I smirk, widely.

He laughs, "Gotta put in good word." he shrugs.

I nod, "I'll help." I smile. Shawn drops me down my house.

"Thanks for today. I really appreciate it." I smile, waving at him.

"Hey, that's what bestfriends are for right?" he smiles.

"Genuinely though, I felt really shitty and you put me in a really good mood. Love you for that." I smile.

"I got you, you know that for the past three days we've been friends." he says, chuckling. I smile at him in his car.

"See you tomorrow?" I say.

"Tomorrow." Shawn confirms. He drives off, and I walk up to the door.

I really tried to persuade my father to let me just stay in the house but after two hours of constant arguing, I finally had enough and decided to get out of the house so that I could take my mind off of it.

Joey wasn't free so my only option was Shawn.

"Where have you been?" my dad, says sternly as I walk in.

"I was out with my friend." I roll my eyes.

"I hope you packed everything. We're going to Sean's so you can settle in." my dad says. Well, all that arguing didn't seem to pay off.

"I'm going to leave the keys with you just in case you need anything from the house." he says. I take a deep breath. I really didn't want to face Ethan after what happened tonight.

Seeing him with her just made me feel shittier. Especially after arguing with my dad.

My dad sighs sympathetically, "Listen, I'm sorry baby. I just need to know your safe too; I don't want to lose you too." he says wrapping his arms around me. I hug him back, remembering my mother.

I missed her so much.

"I understand dad." I smile, half-heartedly. I wipe away the tears that were building up in my eyes.

"It'll only be for two weeks." he says.

"I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive two weeks without seeing you." I say, looking to the floor.

"It'll be okay alright? I'm only a call away. I'll try to check on you every night alright?" he says, lifting my chin so I could look at his face.
