Waking up, Kinsley rubs her face and sluggishly enter the shower still half-asleep.

Over the past week, Billy kept dropping notes in her locker with compliments and sultry descriptions as well as sending her winks across the classroom. She tamed her hair and got changed, grabbing an apple as she walked out the door and joined Dustin who was already waiting for her in the car. As they drove, there was a light conversation about anything and everything.

"So, what's up with you and Billy?" He grins at Kinsley.

She sighs and chuckles slightly, shaking her head, "Why do you think there is something up?"

Kinsley pulls into the car park and Dustin looks over at her cheekily, "No reason. I've just noticed a few things and by 'I', I mean Max has noticed a few things."

She shakes her head, what could he mean by that? Kinsley moves her hands in a shooing motion, "Shoo, shoo, be gone, little boy."

She sits in her car for a moment, pulling down the visor and opening the little mirror to check her hair. As she closes it, there's a knock on her window, she jumps in her seat and looks over to see Nancy sticking her tongue out at me. Shaking her head, giggling, Kinsley opens the door and gets out of her car. Kinsley and Nancy link arms as they walk into the school. They go to her locker, opening it and find another note, 'Go on a date with me tonight? - your favourite douchebag x'.

Kinsley shakes her head, smiling and passing it to Nancy so she could have a look, "B- for effort from me. Come one, at least ask in person!"

They laugh. Organising her books inside her locker, Kinsley grabs her English folder. Squealing slightly, she jumps as she hears a small, "Hey beautiful," next to her ear.

She turns around and, not at all to her surprise, Billy stands with his hands on his hips, smirking. "Bobby!" She drags out sarcastically, smiling back at him, "Wow."

"Have you seen my notes?" He says proudly. Kinsley closes her locker door easily, "No, my lockers been jammed, for the whole week! Sorry." She says dramatically obviously lying, he chuckles slightly.

"Wanna to skip class?"

"You need to give up now," Kinsley looks him in the eye, taking a step closer to him causing her to have to look up to keep eye contact, "You are wasting your time."

"Give up?" He lifts his hand to his mouth and breathes in the smoke from his cigarette. He breathes it out again and licks his lips, still smirking.

"Listen, Kinsley Henderson," He points a finger at her, leaning down to come face to face and looking up at her through his eyelashes. His voice drops quieter and becomes gentle, "You're smart, so you must know that every time you reject me, it just makes me want you even more than I already do. So if you want me gone then you should probably just go on a date with me."

He straightens up and takes two steps backwards, gesturing towards Kinsley. He raises his eyebrows waiting for his answer.

"Was that all?" She asked simply, he huffs and looks up, clearly frustrated by the unclear answer. He smiles sweetly, "One more thing," making eye contact again, he closes his eyes for a second and says, staring intensely into her eyes, "Fuck, you are beautiful."

Taken aback she stumbles over her words, his smile widens exposing his pearly teeth catching her even more off guard. Kinsley speaks quickly in a sing-song voice as she walks past him and to my first class, "Goodbye, Billy!"

Nancy pats him on the arm, Billy cranks his neck to the side to look at her, she smiles, "Better luck next time."

He smiles, "Thanks."
