Jinx's POV

LJ and I spent the rest of the day talking, hanging out, and of course, laughing. We talked about everything that we liked and disliked, and we ended up having a lot in common!

After the day ended, I walked upstairs, only to find Jeff in my room, freshening the smile on his face. He heard the door open and turned around. "Jinx! Where have you been? I haven't seen you all day!" he said with worry and excitement.

"Calm down," I laughed. "I was out training with Laughing Jack. I had my first kill today!" I exclaimed. His expression saddened a bit.

"Aww... I wanted your first kill to be with me," he said gloomily.

"Cheer up," I laughed. "Its no big deal." He sighed.

"I guess you're right. Anyways, how do you like killing? How did you kill the person? How old were they? Did they put up a fight?" Jeff rushed as many questions as he could at me before I put my hand over his mouth. It was so cute how he acted like a five-year-old sometimes.

I tried to process everything he just asked me, and gave him as many answers as I could.

"Okay... First of all, I love it! It feels natural for me," I beamed. "I don't know what it is, though. Maybe the screams of the child or the-"

"Wait. Wait wait wait," Jeff interrupted. "You killed a kid?"

"Yeah. Is that... wrong?"

"Hell no! Kids are easier to kill, plus they cry more. It's a lot of fun! I usually kill older kids and adults, though. I like it when they put up a fight," he said almost flirtatiously. "But a child is always good for your first kill. My first kill was a teenager," he laughed.

Here was me and Jeff, having what was considered a civilized conversation in this house.

I think I'm finally getting used to this place.
