Krystal grimly looked outside. The weather reflected her mood, lightning flashing from outside of the vehicle. The rain trickles across the glass panel, racing with one another to whom would meet the ground first. Krystal held a hand onto the window pane. There was a reason why her mood was foul today.
The Jung sisters are Chanel's favourite duo. Every time there'd be an event, Krystal would arrive hand in hand with her sister. This time however, it would be different. Upon her arrival to Korea, she found out that he sister was in Taiwan over the week to attend some important business meetings. This meant one thing: the introverted Krystal will be in the lime light all alone during the fashion event. She loved fashion all her heart, but to be in a room filled with strangers for a couple of hours? That would kill her, - an exaggeration as Jessica said.
"You'll be fine," Her elder sister muttered on the opposite end, as Krystal's eyes watched the rain slowly coming to a halt.
"If you see someone you don't like, just turn around and walk away the other direction," The younger of the two smiled to this. "Thanks for the very helpful advice, Jess," Krystal muttered, before saying her goodbyes and ending the phone call.
There was one evident reason why she'd avoid coming back to Korea, and it begins with a capital K and a small n. But that was no issue for Krystal to ponder about now. She needed a plan to survive the next three hours without her manager oppa.
"Oppa, are you sure you can't come?" Krystal peers over the front seat, giving her manager the biggest puppy eye throughout her entire existence.
Her manager looks at the backseat and flashes her a smile. "You're going to be okay, Soojung. Besides, the invitation letter clearly said celebrities only. Even the press can't enter the venue. They must have something really exclusive to launch,"
Krystal pouts before leaning back into the leather seat. She could do nothing but sigh once more, already agreeing with her fate for the night. Right on cue, the luxury car stops in front of a majestic-looking building, the rain completely stopping. Her manager rounded the car and opens the car door, to which she said a thank you as a respond. She steps onto the pavement, feeling uneasy with the many pair of eyes staring right at her.
"Enjoy your night, Soojungie," her manager grins, giving her a light push. "See you later oppa," Krystal pegs back, turning her back against him and strutting to the building's main entrance.
With every step she took, she feigned her confidence. Turning around when someone calls out her name, she hears the familiar sounds of camera flashing, her eyes roaming the area.
"Krystal! Krystal!"
"Over here Krystal!"
"Miss Krystal! Right here!"
She tries her best to satisfy most of the press, flashing her signature half-smile that would make the media go frenzy. The dress she was wearing got in her way at one point, - so she gathered them in both hands and walked away with an aura of royalty behind her. Everyone around the entrance looked at her in awe. No way in hell a human being would exclude such a charming aura none other than miss Krystal Jung herself. The knee-length boots clank before her as she looks at the sky above. Despite the destructive weather along the ride, the cloud seemed clear as off now. How unpredictable, just like her life. One moment she's full of emptiness, the next she'd on cloud-nine.
