Hi, I know. 6 months has probably passed. Oh my gosh, I don't know where to begin. I'm so sorry. I'm just so vstal deprived. Nothing motivated me to write. The world was collapsing in front of my very eyes and I couldn't do anything about it. My friendship went to shambles and I didn't know how to get through that too. I've been reading a lot nowadays so I'm working on being positive now so no worries! Enjoy~
—GREETINGS—
Krystal could never forget that night in Paris. How could she? That was, undeniably the turning point of her relationship with Kai. She made a dire mistake and wanted no one to absolutely hear of it, yet now there he was, standing tall and proudly right in front of her. Absolutely bullocks if you asked her.
"Yah Kim Taehyung, give me back my phone!"
Her biggest mistake.
"If you're going to search up for Jennie, forget about it. All you're going to get is a broken heart," he made no move to giving up her phone, sliding the small metal into the hidden pocket of his tuxedo. "You ... you saw that?" Krystal could feel her cheeks heating up due to embarrassment. That scene must have been pathetic to watch. "Yah, the whole hall saw what happened. How could they not? A gorgeous woman and Korea's trending it-couple. No one would want to even miss a blink," Taehyung replied, not helping Krystal with her anxiety at all.
"Fuck!" She hissed, upset over herself. She slides down to the floor, crouching over her knees. What if news spread over what happened? She'd look like the pathetic loser that was chasing after her ex, then. Krystal Jung found talking to the famous Kim Kai of EXO! While his hot new girlfriend was right by his side. Those words were screaming into her mind, and the comments of the netizens already poisoning her insides. She didn't feel good. Krystal wanted to just vomit all of her insides out, despite barely eating for the day.
"Hey ..." She feels someone patting her back, slowly and gently. "It's going to be alright," Taehyung whispers, caressing her back. Krystal couldn't bring herself to look at him. She wonders just how terrible she looked right now. So, she just cried. After letting her tears dry, she finally gathered her courage to look up at the younger male.
"Yah Kim Taehyung, on the scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worse, how ugly do I look right now?" She sulked, wiping the snot over her nose with the back of her elbows.
The younger boy stared at her in awe. Even now, crouched down with mascara running down her face while she wipes her snots away, Krystal has never failed to look beautiful. Maybe that is what happens to person who has no evil in their hearts. Indeed, he felt privileged to be able to see this side of her that the media fails to see, that the world will never know. And this was his second time being able to be there for her.
"-1," he answers before giving her his infamous box-shaped smile. Krystal stared at him and scoffs, her lips lifting to form a smile. This man was unbelievable. Laughing to herself, she stands up and wipes her hands against each other before muttering to herself words of encouragement. "Yeah. I shouldn't behave this way. I am Krystal Jung and I don't back off from situations like that, like a sore loser. I am a mature woman and I will react to this with grace and class."
He stood up with her and nodded, putting a hand inside the pocket of his trousers, his other hand reached out to her face. "You're right. Now go into the powder room and do what you have to do. I'll wait outside for you, we can go in together, okay?" Krystal nodded, letting him wipe her tears off her face. She turns around and walks into the toilet, glancing back at Taehyung for a short second, before getting in to fix her makeup.
