— TRIGGER WARNING —
Mentions of sexual assault.

It wasn't an unusual occurrence for it to rain on hot summer nights like these. Most of the times, the summer rain would come crashing down onto earth out of a sudden, without any warning sign. Krystal sighed as she laid unmoving on her bed, in the same exact position she has been for the past 3 hours.

Her body was tired after the whole day practicing for the upcoming SMTOWN concert in Japan, and her mind was elsewhere, — unable to stay still at one point. If she stops and thinks about something for a while, her head would drift back to that incident that happened today, that made her very uncomfortable.

She shivered, diverting her thoughts elsewhere. She was on the verge of breaking down if she spends even a second more thinking about that incident today. Her body suddenly felt like it wasn't hers, and she didn't know if she was overreacting about that issue or not.

The light from outside flashed across the clock on her wall. The time showed that it was close to 12 midnight, and despite the pitter latter of the rain outside, Krystal's body itched to go for a walk. It was probably not the best of idea but she needed time to process what had happened today, actually, she needed someone to talk to about it. But at the same time, her heart ached at the thought of repeating the scene from the incident that happened at the company today. She was fearful of how she would act, and what kind of toll it would take towards her mentally.

An idea crossed her mind as she walked out of her unit. She knew that Taehyung lived a couple of buildings away and he was the confidant that she needed. So she took the hasty decision to walk to his Seoul apartment, taking the risk as she didn't know if he was here or back at his hometown in Daegu as he was on a break.

The rain got even harsher when she left her apartment building. The wind grew stronger, and the umbrella covering her head seemed like a frail attempt to keep her body wet from the rain. Not caring about the wetness, Krystal continued her walk until she came face to face with his apartment building, stopping and looking at the caricature.

She ponders to herself, as the rain got to her face.

Was this the right decision to do? Will he be the right person to express my thoughts?

I guess only fate will tell. If he was here, she would go to him, but if he was back in Daegu, Krystal has no choice but to go back, put the incident behind her and keep it locked up in the darkest depths of her head, forever.

"Nae, Soojung-ah?" His gentle, yet deep voice boomed across the end, the rain making it hard for her to listen to his unique voice.

"Are you home, in Seoul?" She asked, almost shouting into the phone. She couldn't hear herself.

"Soojung ... are you out in the rain?"

"Yeah, but I don't mind it," she giggled, letting the umbrella fall from her hands.

"Soojung, find shelter, hold still, I'm coming for you," he muttered, growing worried as he could hear the sound of the rain more louder now compared to the first time.

Krystal smiled and ended the call, disregarding whatever the younger boy had said, and looked up at the sky. The rain droplets fell onto her face, one after another in a rapid motion, and in no time she was soaked from head to toe. She grinned even wider, spreading her arms out into the air and spinning around in a circular motion, playing by herself in the rain.

If someone had come across her right now, they would think that she was a lunatic.

But with the rain falling harshly down her dainty body, nobody could've noticed the hot streaming tears falling nonstop down her face. That was her motive for staying in the rain. Krystal had not wanted anyone, or even herself to witness herself crying.
