I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Stacia was still sleeping next to me so I crawled out of bed and went to take a shower. I turned the water on and let it fog up the bathroom. I got in the shower, after removing my pajamas, and let the hot water massage out all of my aches and pains.

I washed the soap off my body, and the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair and turned the water off. I wrapped a towel around my self and got out of the shower. I dried off my body and got dressed, then I dried my hair off with my other towel.

I left the warm, still foggy bathroom and went back to my own room. I opened the door and Stacia was sitting up in bed watching t.v. I said good morning, but she was too absorbed in the show to say hi back so she just waved. She got out of bed and then got dressed while I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth.

I put on some mascara and we both went down stairs to get something to eat. My phone started ringing and it was Stacia’s mom. I gave the phone to her and went back to finding something to eat. I turned around and she had hung up the phone and had a sad look on her face.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“She said I can’t go. I can’t go to the dance,” Stacia told me.

“Seriously?” I asked her. All she did was nod. “This sucks, every time we actually have plans to do something, your mom has to screw it up, no offense.” I told her.

“I know right, she said that I had to be home by three,” I looked at the clock and it was already 12:30.

I told my mom that there was a change of plans because she couldn’t go. We went back to finding food which we did and then ate. We watched t.v. for a while and then my mother said that it was time to go We got her things together and went out to the var to wait for my parents. We were sitting on the back of the car when Blake came out of his house.

“Hey, ladies. What’s with all the gloom and doom?” he asked making me chuckle.

“My mother said that I couldn’t go to the homecoming dance her and that I have to be home soon. We’re waiting for her parents right now,” Stacia explained. Blake made and ‘o’ shape with his mouth and put his arms around both of us.

“Don’t worry we can all hang out together next weekend,” he said. I smiled at him. He grinned back. “And hey, I’m going to the dance, so you know, you got that to look forward too,” he said and I chuckled again. I wrapped my arms around Blake’s waist and gave him a hug. My parents came out of the house and we got off the car. Blake gave me and Stacia a hug good bye. We said good bye and then got in the car. My dad stopped at Mcdonald’s and we all got Mcflurries. I ate mine slowly, something I usually do when I’m upset. I was glad that we had a long ride to Stacia’s house, but when we got there we had to say good bye until next time.

As we drove away I threw my empty cup out the window, not caring who saw or where we were. I turned on my Ipod and put the band Hey Monday on. Ironically the song Homecoming came on first and that made me chuckle.

When we got back to the house my brothers friend James was there. He also used to go to school here, but his mom kicked him out for skipping school to many times and now he goes to Mt. Blue. James was an okay guy, but he was way to tall, seriously if you were to line the both of us up, my head would be to about his stomach, and no I am not just really short. I walked inside and got my laptop. I went on Facebook and as soon as I got on a chat from Jackalin. We started talking about random things for a while, but of course I knew I couldn’t avoid it for long. She brought up the topic of the homecoming dance.

Jackalin- r u going to homecoming???

Jasey- I dont know, mayb... y

Jackalin- because u have to go

Jasey- and y is that????

Jackalin- because I said sooooo

Jasey- fine but im not wearing a dress

Jackalin- umm yes u are

Jasey- ummmm no im not

Jackalin- fine, but at least wear something nice

Jasey- yea sure (note the sarcasm)

Jackalin- whatever I got to go get ready. it starts in an hour :)

Jasey- yippie

Jackalin got off and I stayed on for a little while longer. I looked at the time and it said 5:45 so I figured I should start getting ready. I turned off my laptop and walked up to my room.

I figured since I was just going to wear what I was already wearing, which was a pair on black skinny jeans, a black spaghetti strap top and a blue zip up sweat shirt, with my echo red converse, that I could at least put on some make up.

I put on some black eyeliner and dark blue eyeshadow to match my outfit. I applied some mascara and grabbed my phone off the charger my money to get in the dance and was down the stairs.

I was meeting Jackalin at the dance so my dad was giving me a ride there. It turns out James was going to crash the homecoming dance so he was coming with us. We left the house and were there in about ten minutes considering I live right down the road from the school.

I said bye to my dad and walked in to the building. I paid the entrance fee and went off to find some one. I wandered around and eventually found Jackalin.

Hey, so what do you guys think of the story so far. I didn’t want to put the entire dance in one chapter because then it would be way too long. I know I cut this one a little short, but I had to. I’ll make up for it next chapter, I promise.

It would be amazing if you guys would comment and vote and become a fan if you could. Thanks to all of you who read this you are truly amazing. You should check out my other stories too :)
