Sonic X Reader (Sonic Forces)

Sleep

You saw Sonic look up and when he looked up you saw Eggman's robot destroy through the ceiling of the cell room. It had your parents. It made its way to the very top of his lair and disappeared somewhere. When you couldn't see it anymore Sonic dashed to you, seeing you had a tear on your face and wiped it off with his thumb. His warm smile hugged you. Without even stopping yourself you burst into tears, you struggled to talk between each sob and choke on your tears, "I-I c-couldn't sa-ve t-them..." In a flash, you wrapped your shaking arms around his small torso. You felt his arms make their way to your back, rubbing it slowly to make you calm down. At least it helped.

In a quick move, Sonic picked you up bridal style and gave you the sweetest smile followed by a cheeky wink. That made you feel so much better. He dashed to what seemed like his house. You were there in under 3 seconds.

Sonic's POV

Yes, yes I know. I wasn't going back to Tails' house. But I had something in mind for us to do if ya know what I'm sayin'. We got there in under a second or two, or maybe three and I let her down in front of my house. My house was located right on the shore of the beach, to remind me of the fun times on Seaside Island with Sticks, Knuckles, Amy, and Tails. Heck, even Egghead! There's a pier connected to my house and the ocean which I walk on, I've tried my hardest to face my fears and dive straight into the cold water, but what it seems like, it's sorta like suicide. 

I saw Y/N walking inside and smiled, she looked at me and said, "you're lucky you live here. This is such a beautiful location!" I smiled and walked up to her. 

"Did you want anything? Like, a drink? Chilli dog?" I offered her, I couldn't make chilli dogs as I can't cook but I could easily run to the chilli dog stand, get one, and bring it to her. She shook her head not speaking a word and sat on the couch, laying down. She was asleep. I can't blame her for not getting any in the prison cell, I couldn't either. I picked her up and placed her on my cosy soft bed and lay down next to her, wrapping my arms around her waist. We both fell asleep.
