So we've all seen the let's have a fake relationship so I can prove to someone that I can get a man. I'm just like at this point like why. You are going so above and beyond the necessary steps. Like just tell the person you are single and not ready to mingle. Periodt. End of story. But nooooooooooo. We always have to 'prove' ourselves to someone else.
I mean being the teenage girl I am when people say do I have a boyfriend the first person that comes to my mind is my celebrity crush. So I'll jokingly say "I'm mentally taken but in reality not so much."
Wattpad characters just can't do that. They always pick a 'bad boy' to play their fake partner. Then they're like we only need to date for a few weeks and then we never have to see each other's face again.
And what happens. They catch feelings. The main character will go on this eternal rant and say I didn't mean for this to happen. Blah blah blah. I'm like I knew this was going to happen in chapter 1, I'm not surprised.
This plot even turned into a movie. *cough* *cough*
