Usually this trope takes place when the love interest has a child. The love interest baby daddy or mother is always so terrible. Abusing their child or doing drugs. I'm like geez!
We all know the stereotype for baby mommas they're ghetto ratchet and have no manners. While the dads are no good or they don't want to be in the kids life.
Maybe some authors are writing from experience which is really sad. But not all baby mothers or dads lost their marbles. It's called co-parenting.
It's so annoying to see the child of the love interest immediately gravitate towards their "new" parent. When y'all know good n well step parents don't get the same respect as actual parents.
But it's okay to have co-parenting in Wattpad. The baby momma shouldn't always be trying to sell her child. Broaden your and our horizons ☺️☺️☺️☺️
