((Who doesn't love a POV from your favorite scary direwolf! Btw, I think it gets more cringer as the chapter continues. Read at your own risk!))

Shadow had seen dragons, he'd seen them at the time of Aegon's Conquest. However, Shadow was not frightened by them, he never was and he never will be. The direwolf picked up his speed, coming up next to Hunter's horse.

Shadow looked up at Hunter, the lord looked at in front of the them before looking down at the direwolf. "Ēngenka ao?" The lord spoke in Valyrian to the direwolf, Shadow knew what it meant. The direwolf, over the years started to understand what High Valyrian was. He had heard it from Hunter or from the household members. Shadow gave him a small nod, his legs carried him out ahead of the horse.

The group of horses and men entered Winterfell, each person got off their horses and handed the reigns over to the stable-boys. Shadow followed Hunter into the Great Hall, the guards and Myra followed after them. Inside the Great Hall there was no one, not even the candles had been lit up right before they came in. The soul that lit the candles had left before the group come, they heard the footsteps and removed themselves before they could be noticed.

Shadow laid himself down in front of one of the table by the high table, Hunter sat beside him at the same table. Myra sat beside Hunter, and the three guards stood behind them at where the wall was. The direwolf scanned the room with its blue eyes, the scent of smoke filled its nostrils, and the sound of footsteps filled its ears.

Shadow turned his head to look at the back door, starting to sit up in order to look more professional. Shadow had to look better, even if he was a direwolf he had to look better than his master.

It wasn't the first time that Shadow had seen a Targaryen either, he lived in the capital for many years with his master and was very close with his master's second wife. But even Shadow knew that this one was different than the last hundreds of Targaryens.

The Dragon Princess across the Narrow Sea. That's what Hunter called her, or what Valar called her. And in she walked in, the silver haired woman was followed by her dark haired advisor, the bald headed Unsullied, and the black haired Dothraki. But no lion or direwolves followed after the dragon.

Shadow looked back at the three guards, Valar's eyes followed the dragon queen and her party, but then the guard's eyes looked down at the direwolf. The direwolf could almost see the smile that was behind the helmet. Shadow looked back at the dragon making her way over to the high table, their eyes met for a split second as she sat herself down.

"My lord, I am glad that you could make it. Wine? Ale? We have various produce and various different kinds of food. All for the act of consumption by guests and household." Shadow heard the words that came from her mouth, his ears perked up when he heard Hunter whistle softly.

Lillyana handed Myra a bag, Shadow watched the woman stand up and walk over to the high table. "A gift, your Grace. From a lemon tree in Braavos, from the many lemon tress in Braavos this one is a special lemon tree." Shadow looked at the table as the Dragon Princess straightened up, her violet eyes looked at the ice blue eyes of Hunter.

"Bring us wine, water, bread, and hard cheese." The Dragon Queen looked at her advisor, the woman walked out of the room and returned shortly with the food. The warlord carried in the two flagons of water and wine in an act of helping out.

Across the room, the food and drinks were placed down on a table. Shadow's ears perked up when he heard his master scoff, his head turned to look at his master as a smirk came across his face.

"Your Grace, you called this meeting in order to get to know me. So what is it that you want to know from this strange lord?" The voice of his master, the stern voice of his master almost gave the direwolf chills. But yet he was a direwolf and no one could see its chills.
