The girls are all around the kitchen area of the Hasting's house, some are seated on the chairs, one is leaning on the kitchen island, and one is standing near the refrigerator.
"A sent this letter to my mom." Aria said while showing a piece of paper.
"You know it's not your fault, right?" Spencer consoled the girl. "It's your dad's mistake, totally."
"No!" Aria argued. "It's my fault."
"One does not hook up with someone and then ask his kid to cover for him." Kathlyn retaliated.
"Ali said that I should've told my mom about it right after it happened." Aria said. A sent a letter to Aria's mom about her dad's affair.
Emily immediately flipped her head to Aria's direction, "Ali knew?"
"Yeah, she was with me then." Aria explained.
"So, Ali saw this Meredith person?" Kathlyn asked.
"Meredith?" Hanna inquired.
Aria answered Hanna's question for Kathlyn, "Her name's Meredith."
"Ew!" Hanna said mockingly, "That's not even a cute-girl name."
"Hanna." Spencer called out the blonde girl, her joke seems out of place at the moment.
"Look, I'm just trying to lighten up the mood." Hanna defended, "When my dad left us, laughing sometimes helped."
"So did crying." She added.
"My father hasn't left, guys." Aria argued, "And this happened over a year ago."
Spencer decided to pan the conversation to another topic, to let Aria breathe, "Thanks for staying with me." After what happened last night (A.K.A the mirror incident), all the girls decided to stay with Spencer since she's gonna be alone.
"No worries, Spence." Emily said.
"When's your family getting back?" Hanna asked.
"Thus afternoon." Spencer answered.
"I'm not in a hurry to leave." Hannah explained, "But aren't we gonna clean off the mirror before they get here?"
Spencer then headed upstairs to clean the mess that A made on her mirror, with the rest of the girls following behind her. Spencer's wiping clean the mirror, Emily's helping Spencer by spraying water and liquid soap, Kathlyn's fumbling with Spencer's laptop, and both Hanna and Aria are busy with their cellphones.
*notification sound*
"Girls." Kathlyn called the four girls.
"Well, she's back." Hanna sarcastically said upon seeing the notification.
"Open the attachment." Spencer urged Kathlyn. And when Kathlyn opened the attachment, a photo of them popped out.
"That's us! Aria exclaimed.
"Was that shot from inside your closet?" Hanna asked, mainly to Spencer.
"A was watching us!" Emily started to panic.
