After Kathlyn's dinner with Ethan, she received a message from Spencer saying that they should all meet up and that she received something from Toby.

"Your sister's pregnant?" Hanna asked Spencer while sitting down on Emily's bed. They decided to meet up on Emily's house. Hanna, Spencer, and Emily were seated on Emily's bed while Aria's cuddled up on the small sofa near the window, and Kathlyn was sitting on the chair in front of Emily's vanity area.

"How did that happen?" Hanna continued asking.

"I'm guessing pretty much the usual way," Spencer shrugged.

Kathlyn looked at Aria and Hanna, Hanna just shrugged. "So, what was it that Toby gave you?"

Spencer then pulled out a small paper, "This. It's in braille.'

Kathlyn stood up and sat next to Spencer, and borrowed the laptop to search for braille codes.

"You wanna see this, Aria?" Spencer asked Aria as she noticed that the raven haired girl is seated too far from them.

Aria looked at Kathlyn who unfortunately didn't notice her as she was busy, and then she looked at Hanna, "I can see just fine from here."

Kathlyn then pulled the pen from Spencer's grip. "The first letter's 'B'"

"I'll write, give me that." Spencer said.

"Next is an 'A'" Kathlyn told them.

"Is it gonna tell us who 'A' is?" Emily asked no one in particular.

"What?" Kathlyn exclaimed with a sighed. "Are you sure Toby trusts you?" Kathlyn asked Spencer.

"Yes. No. I don't know. Why?" Spencer replied in a confused tone.

"B-A-D. The last letter's 'D'" Kathlyn told them.

"That's the whole message? Bad?" Hanna disappointingly said.

"Toby doesn't trust us. That's the message." Aria interrupted. "I don't blame him."

Spencer shook her head, "I don't think he'd mess with us like this."

"Either way. This ain't gonna lead us to anything." Kathlyn added.

"And Toby's not the enemy." Hanna added.

All of a sudden, Aria stood up and fetch her bags.

"You know guys, I'm gonna go."

"What was that?" Emily asked, confused of what just happened. It's rare to see Aria suddenly uninterested and about to burst.

Kathlyn sighed and Hanna shrugged.

"Good morning, dear." Sharonn greeted her granddaughter with a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, gran. Jack?" Kathlyn asked while pulling a chair to sit on.

Sharonn placed a plate in front of Kathlyn, "He left early. Something about basketball."

Kathlyn just nodded, still bothered by the issue between her and Aria.

"By the way, your friend, Caleb? Is he not gonna eat breakfast here?" Sharonn pulled Kathlyn out of her deep thinking.

"Oh. I don't know."

Upon arriving home from the "meeting" with the girls, Caleb having a talk with Sharonn on their living room was what greeted her. Apparently, Caleb took up her offer to stay at their outhouse.

"I cooked extra set, it's on the kitchen." Sharonn told her granddaughter then pointed to their kitchen. "I'll be at the garden."

Kathlyn just gave a cute smile and a huge thumbs up to her grandmother.

As if on cue, Caleb entered the door.

"Good morning." Caleb greeted the brunette.

"Morning. Granny cooked for you. It's there" Kathlyn told the guy and then pointed to the same location where her grandmother pointed earlier. Caleb walked to the kitchen and then picked  up a plate from the kitchen island.

"Not a 'good' morning, I guess." Caleb commented while walking back to the dining area.

"Uhuh." Kathlyn replied.

"Care to share?" Caleb pried.

Kathlyn looked at the boy in which the latter just returned with a wiggle of his eyebrows.

Before talking, Kathlyn let out a deep sigh first. "I had a misunderstanding with a friend."

Because Kathlyn's not looking at her side, she accidentally toppled her cup of coffee and got burned.

"OUCH!"

Caleb immediately stood up and pulled Kathlyn towards the sink, he then turned it on and ran cold water over the burned area. Caleb softly caress the girl's hand putting emphasis on the burned area as the cold water flows. Kathlyn immediately noticed the awkward position they are in, with Caleb pressed on her back. Using her right hand, she turned off the faucet and hurriedly walked upstairs, to her room.

Kathlyn trudged through the hallway of Rosewood high, but then her face lit up when she saw Aria and Hanna standing near her locker. "Hey."

"I felt awful when I left last night."

"I'm sorry."

Aria and Kathlyn said at the same time.

"Oh. Chill." Hanna commented.

"I am really sorry, Ar. I should've done something to help Hanna and I shouldn't have kept such a secret from you." Kathlyn breathlessly said.

"I know. I should've listened. All I could think about was my mom and... I was so mean. I'm sorry." Aria said.

"We good?" Kathlyn said throwing a big smile, and earning a nod from Aria. The two girls hugged each other.

They class hasn't started yet so they headed to the cafeteria, although Kathlyn went somewhere first.

After running an errand, Kathlyn walked to the cafeteria to join her friends.

"Hey." Kathlyn greeted the girls, and the girls greeted her back.

Spencer then panned her attention to Kathlyn, "What is with you and artful dodger?"

"Caleb?" Kathlyn asked.

"Uh-huh." Spencer raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't know you like shady guys, Kath." Hanna commented.

"What about Ethan?" Aria added.

Kathlyn rolled her eyes at her friends, "Girls, calm down."

Once she noticed that all her friends' attention is onto her, she continued, "I just gave something to him."

The girls got even more confused.

"Okay... what is it?" Emily trailed off.

"It was nothing important."

Aria commented, "Just a warning though, be careful of him."

Kathlyn just nodded at her friend, "Innocent until proven guilty."

"Point taken." Spencer replied.

All the girls suddenly became quiet as they focus on their own stuff. Kathlyn's looking at her planner slash diary trying to figure out if there is a homework she forgot to do, and something passed by her vision.

The brunette looked  up and saw someone. Someone she's not expecting to see anytime soon.
