"Wait, so she tried to pin it on you?" Hanna asked. When Kathlyn told them of what Jason said to her, they all couldn't believe it. They all know that it was Alison who formulated the plan and even was the one who executed it.
"That's what she told Jason." Kathlyn explained.
"But why you?" Aria asked. Same question that's been bugging Kathlyn.
"Maybe because Kathlyn can stand up against her, and Ali didn't like that." Spencer reasoned.
"God, this is so insane! Is this what she also told Jenna when she visited her at the hospital?" Hanna asked, still cannot believe that Alison really did something like that.
Kathlyn just shrugged. She doesn't also know anymore.
Kathlyn let out a heavy breathe, "I thought she was trying to cover up that thing but she was in fact ratting us out to her brother."
"As if she wants Jason to know the fake story in case something is to happen to her." Aria pointed out.
"But why?" Emily asked.
"So they'd know who to blame." Spencer answered.
"God! This is still her movie and we are just filling up the screen." Hanna exclaimed.
The memorial program went on but Kathlyn just cannot push herself to say something good about Alison after what she found out. So she asked Spencer to create some kind of amazing cover up and that she won't be speaking any dedicated anymore. There's no way she won't be dissing and shitting on Alison on that stage after knowing that the girl just pinned her crime onto her. But Kathlyn didn't leave the venue, she still has responsibilities as one of the organizers.
She was sitting on a secluded (somehow) place when someone approached her, "Hey."
Kathlyn looked up and met beautiful orbs, "Hey!"
"You aren't gonna be there?" Ethan asked.
Kathlyn just shook her head, as much as she wants to tell and rant to Ethan, she can't, "I'm not feeling well."
Ethan suddenly grabbed her face and placed his hand on her forehead, checking her temperature. But before Ethan could figure that she was faking it, she pulled her face away, "I'm fine. Maybe just some kind of emo blues."
Ethan just nodded. Silence covered them.
"Hey, talk please. The silence is killing me." Kathlyn whined.
Ethan chuckled, "What are we gonna talk about?"
Kathlyn shrugged because honestly, she also has no idea on what they are to talk about, "Your romantic life?"
"Boring." Ethan retorted, "How about yours?"
"Mega boring." Kathlyn said with a soft chuckle. Their twenty questions-like conversation continued on until the memorial program ended.
