Kathlyn, still bothered by what happened with detective Wilden and by the message she received from A, spent her lunch break in the library.

"Hey."

Upon hearing the voice, Kathlyn looked up from the book she was reading and met tantalizing brown eyes.

"I guessed right, you're here." Ethan told the girl as he pulled a seat in front of Kathlyn who now realized the reason why Ethan was looking for her.

"Oh shit, I-I am sorry. It slipped myㅡ"

Ethan cut off Kathlyn, "Don't worry, I know you have lots of things to take."

"I saw you with the detective." Ethan added.

"He just asked some stuff about Alison." Kathlyn explained.

Ethan just nodded, "So, I guess, you're not in the mood to do some science-y stuff?"

"I am, I can do science-y stuff."

Ethan then pulled one of the books in front of Kathlyn to read the title, "We can postpone. By the way, are you ready for Noel Kahn's party?"

Kathlyn's eyebrow raised at what Ethan just asked, "Didn't peg you as a party-goer. Hmm."

"The team's gonna be there." Ethan defensively said.

"Oh-kay!" Kathlyn teased the young man. "And to answer your question, nope. I won't be going."

"Then, I guess we can do some biological stuff later?" Ethan wanted to ask the girl why she's not going, but decided not to pry too much.

"I thought you're going to the party?"

"Well, you thought wrong."

ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ

"Am I doing this right?" Ethan who is sitting on the floor, below Kathlyn, who is sitting on the sofa, asked.

Kathlyn peeked at what Ethan was doing, "You are good in Mathㅡ"

"Yeah, I'm bad in Biology. I know." Ethan interrupted.

"Nah, you are actually doing good." Kathlyn punched Ethan's arm lightly. They were very busy doing their Biology homework that they didn't notice how close they are already. Kathlyn was still on the sofa, laying on her tummy and Ethan was still on the floor leaning on the sofa, real close to Kathlyn's face. The silence air covering the two was broken when Kathlyn's phone rang.

"Hello?"
