Raindrops chased each other down the window I was seated next to in Starbuck's. It seemed almost hopeless to get my life back, let alone Liam.

"Stop your moping. It's killing my mood." A familar voice snaps from the bench across from mine.

"Maddie!" I was so relieved to see her, "I've been screaming your name for days! Where have you been?"

"I've been busy."

I bite my tounge to keep the harsh words from pouring out of my lips.

"I-I need your help. I don't know what to do."

She rolls her eyes, "Emily, babe, I can't help you with everything. I'm just here to explain things."

I sigh as tears sting behind my eyelids.

I didn't hear her disappear, but the next time I look back at her, she wasn't there. I move my glance back to the window and see a girl scraping her ripped up TOMS along the pavement, her wet curls hanging in her face.

I knew her.

It was Genevieve.

I slip out of my booth leaving my now cold coffee on the table. The bell rings as I push through the glass doors. The second I step into the rain Gen bumps into to me.

"O-Oh. I'm sorry." Her usually rosey cheeks had a lack of color, and her eyes were red and blotchy.

She takes one look at my face and begins to freak out, "Y-You d-d-d-died. Y-You shouldn't b-be here."

Shit. Gen knew Emily. Now, she's gonna think she's insane.

I watch as she breaks down into tears. She never cries in front of anybody.

"I'm going insane. I can't handle two people dying in one week. That's what it is." She whispered words of reassurance to herself.

I could tell her everything. It's almost perfect. She knew Emily and Megan; I could explain what happened and get my life back!

I move her hands away from her face, and make her look at me. "Genevieve. It's me."

"Oh great! She talks!" She cries out, burying her face back into her hands.

"No. Gen, it's me. Megan."

The look she gave me was complete pain, "What are you talking about?"

"God, gave me another chance." The story rushes out of my mouth. Everything that happened with Liam up to now.

"D-Do you know what this means?"

I just shake my head, as she begins to walk away.

"I've OFFICIALLY gone crazy!"

"Gen! I'm telling the truth! why don't you believe me?"

She starts walking back towards me, "I don't know? Maybe because last time I checked, you were dead!"

The tears slip down my cheeks as I shake my head, "...I just want to see Liam. I want to hug him and kiss him. I miss him more than you'll ever know."

Something flickers in her eyes. Sympathy, maybe?

"Okay, if you're really "Megan" you'll know the answer to this question," She pauses, "Who am I completely in love with?"

"Niall Horan, but you're afraid to ask him out, because you're afraid he only thinks of you two as friends, and I always told you how stupid it was."

Her green eyes soften, "It really is you."

A smile stretches across my face. She knows it's me. I feel her arms wrap around my neck.

After a while of her crying into my shoulder I break free of her grip, "Gen. You have to help me. I need to see Liam. I need to see the boys."
